Pretty family house in the heart of the Fingerlakes.

This house boasts a fabulous outside entertainment area with barbecue and fire pit, and wonderful garden and patio. Only a few miles from Ithaca and Cayuga Lake, restaurants and wineries are within easy reach. The kitchen has a walkout to covered veranda, perfect for alfresco dining, and the bedrooms have blackout curtains for a good nights sleep. A gem !!

Best of Newfield

Incredible location and the host thought of everything. Dropped our son off for college and the house made the experience that much better. Enjoyed coffee on the covered porch and the view of the stars at night. Would recommend to all who need a place to stay near Ithaca.

Just what I wanted

This property was very clean and sized just right for our group. The grill and the patio outside were private and seeing the horses next door was a bonus! I will stay here again for sure. Thanks to Jan, our super property owner!

A real gem!

Everything was perfect. We were there to move in our daughter into Cornell. It was a short distance (15 mins) and felt like home away from home! Highly recommend!

Lovely place to stay!

The house and property are beautiful. A perfect fit for out family of 4 while my oldest was checking out Ithaca collge. It is all very well maintained and clean! We loved being able to come in and get started on our adventures and some quality relaxation. We were an easy 20 min or less from downtown, the two colleges, and all 3 state parks. Contact with the owners at arrival and check-in was easy. We would absolutely stay here again in the future!

Visit to see family

We were in town visiting family. This house was a perfect touchdown pad for us between all our adventures (Buttermilk falls, Taughannock, Ithaca, putt putt & A&W in Cortland). We found the accommodations to be comfortable, convenient and relaxing. My kids enjoyed the backyard and basement. I personally loved relaxing on the back porch. Beautiful property, friendly hosts. Definitely would rent again!!!

Great location great property

Had a beautiful long weekend in Ithaca community to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from Ithaca College (her first degree). Plan on returning to same property in 2 years for her second graduation weekend. Super easy location just south of Ithaca off Route 13 south. Jan and her husband were lovely owners and easy to work with. Property set on beautiful land with horse paddocks adjacent and barn. Beautiful back yard and patio. Plenty of room for our 4-5 family. So much easier than dealing with motels in Ithaca proper and the craziness during graduation weekend. Learned of new waterfalls to explore. Their daughter is a ceramicist and were able to visit her studio and beautifully hand made earthenware. Lucky enough to come home with several of her mugs. Highly recommend. Also thanks for the perfect weather Ithaca for graduation. You put on a show for us all!!

Fabulous location. Super clean. Incredibly well appointed. Very inviting and welcoming with a bottle of Prosecco and truffles waiting for us. Wonderful place to gather with extra friends or family or just relax. Easy easy access to all of Ithaca and the greater lower finger lakes region. Hosts could not be any nicer or responsive. WiFi was fast and easy. Highly recommend. Daughter lives in Ithaca at Ithaca College but races the Corning Marathon. So a perfect location to get to all the events we needed to get to.

This clean, cozy home is located in a beautiful spot with a lovely deck overlooking a big backyard. It was so peaceful sitting back there, watching the deer and turkeys come in for a snack. It was centrally located near multiple waterfalls and the Corning Glass Museum, which I can’t recommend enough. The host Jan was very kind, considerate, and responsive. We would definitely stay there again!

This property is fantastic! Superbly clean. Close to Ithaca and Cayuga/ Seneca Lakes. Very quiet at night and incredibly comfortable during the day. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and Jan was wonderful with communication!

This house was perfect for our stay! We were in town for a baby shower, and our three-year-old wanted to stay there the whole time and skip the party. The house and outdoor spaces were clean and had everything we needed for a lovely weekend.

Getaway in nature

Perfect for a getaway that is peaceful and quiet. We even saw a deer in the backyard. Perfect location to explore Ithaca and it’s surrounding areas.
