Welcome to WatersEdge Cottage built in 1956 by Ray and Dick Kimmel. We hope you create many memories with family and friends here on Lake Barbee. This cottage has 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, large patio with direct access to Big Barbee, the Chain of Lakes all sports lake. Swim area, kayaks, fishing, paddle board are provided along with a pier, firepit, plenty of outdoor amenities. Bring your boat or rent one at Socks Marina nearby on Little Barbee Lake.

Great place! Great views and access to the water. We appreciated the string lights and fire bowl for evenings!Many restaurants are close, we especially enjoyed Roll-n Smoke BBQ and HopLore's Tiki & Taps.Would definitely rent again.

Our family spent 6 days in this adorable cottage. The cottage had everything we could possibly need and so many activities to keep our 9 year old entertained. The patio on the water was perfect for relaxing and the view out the back windows was beautiful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

This house had everything the two of us wanted for our short but sweet getaway. Comfortable bed, every possible kitchen appliance, dish and utensil anyone would need. It was nice that beach towels were provided. We used the aqua lily pad but not the kayak or paddle board. Lovely lakefront property that was quiet and well maintained. Great communication with the host! AC, dehumidifier and air purifier worked well and made for a fresh place to stay! Fresh water in the water cooler was a huge plus!

Amazing stay, amazing views. First family vacation with the kiddos. Just speechless from the whole thing. Waking up watching sunrise, staying on the patio watching the lake and the sky at night. Breathtaking experience that's one for the books!

This is such a lovely property right on the lake. We loved the large patio and took advantage of the firebowl in the evenings. We also appreciated being able to have our doggies with us. We also like that it's close to two golf courses we enjoy playing.

Mini vacay

This cottage was super nice, very clean and a perfect little place to get away. It is right on the lake and has a great back patio to just sit and relax while watching the boats. Host was quick and responsive with communication and this place is definitely somewhere to come back to for another visit.

Nice Lakefront

Loved our stay - house was very well stocked and very clean. Lakefront was nice - a bit too much sea weed for our liking, but still swimable. We would definately stay here again.

Thanks and glad you had a great stay! It's been a very rainy spring so most of the Lakes in the area were delayed for spraying of weeds. It's usually not an issue for lake, but glad you were still able to enjoy and swim so early in thr season!!

the key pad didnt work to get in but was able to contact the host and he responded within a min. to let me know how we could get into the house. absolutely love this house and location. this was my second time booking this house and of all the houses i have booked this is by far my favorite :) my mom and dad were with me and they love this house and location as well

Nice size rooms. Half bath was tiny, but we were informed ahead of stay. Kitchen was well supplied with dishes, cooking utensils, small appliances. Great view. Liked the big front windows.

Had a little issue checking in with key pad but was quickly taken care of. Home is super clean with all amenities that you could ever need, we completely overpacked not realizing everything that they had. The owner was extremely responsive on the one issue we had and was quick to resolve it. Beautiful location and great area would totally rent here again. Best area of the lake in my opinion and super adorable home that is very well kept.
