This was a great property for our mixed group- we had kids, adults, couples, and a teenager and we all found a comfortable place in the home to enjoy the weekend. The common areas were large enough for us all to socialize and the location could not be beat.
This is our second stay at this property and it didn't disappoint. Lots of gathering spaces for a big group and perfectly situated for running the Rehoboth half marathon. We'd definitely stay here again!
This house is beautiful & clean. The beds were super comfortable! We were within walking distance of the beach, shops and restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again!
We stayed the week of July 4th and had a great experience. The location is ideal within a block of the beach and very close to Rehoboth Avenue. We stayed with 2 other families with multiple children between 7 years of age to newborns. The kids had a ton of fun in the backyard pool, which was great to return to after the beach. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach. The house had all the necessary kitchen supplies and had both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker for the coffee addicts like many of us zombie parents of young children. Even though the area is in a high pedestrian traffic area, the windows and walls are very thick so you don't hear much of the outdoor noise inside. Overall it was a great stay, and we all had a great time.
The house was spotless and the furnishings in good condition. The pool was not available because well, it was March after all and there is COVID-19 to consider. I am sure it is well appreciated during the summer. It is on a corner and there is a lot of traffic noise during the day. It is very quiet at night. The house was kind of sterile, which may be because of COVID-19 precautions (a good move), but there was no place where books, puzzles, games, DVDs and the like would be stored during more normal times. The check-in process seems a bit out-dated in that you have to go to an office to pick up the keys. All of the other properties we have rented in the past few years have had electronic locks and the code is given to the renter just before the stay commences. The key system did cause a bit of a problem as the lock did not function smoothly, causing the key to get stuck at one point. Someone did come out to lubricate it. We also had a problem getting internet access as both the network and passcode listed in the book were inaccurate. The property manager helped us resolve that issue pretty quickly. However, it would not only be helpful to have correct WiFi access information in the book, but there is really no information in the house about things such as operating the appliances, the thermostat, the TVs and so forth. The information provided in terms of the rules of the house and Rehoboth was indeed helpful and adding things about how to operate the heating system (explain which is zone 1 and which zone 2), TVs (there are so many different systems), and appliances would be a functional addition. Overall a nice stay in a house that could be a five star rental with a few changes.
Great house for a big group. Lots of bedrooms with comfortable beds and plenty of group seating around the table and in the living room. Tons of plates, glasses and pots. Plenty of hot water. Everything was clean and well-maintained.
It was a little frustrating to have to bring everything from salt to garbage bags to toilet paper to comforters for the beds, but the owner was clear about that upfront, so there were no surprises. It would have been nice to have a lock box with key. All that said, we'd definitely stay here again.
We had a great time at this beach house for our weekend away - kitchen and living areas are well designed, comfortable and had everything we needed. Upstairs bedroom doors could use some sound proofing. Perfect location to walk to beach, shops and restaurants.
This property was great for our group. It was the perfect location and Judy the manager was excellent. It was clean and we really enjoyed the screened in porch.
My only complaint is the basement retained water while we were there. Judy promptly responded and did not impact our stay. But I don’t think this was the first time and it seems the owner isn’t in a rush to fix it.
This is perfectly located, beautifully staged, very well stocked with glassware and dishes. Mann and Sons was very friendly and helpful, as well as Judy the property manager. We already rebooked for next year!
The location of this property was awesome for our family! We were able to walk every morning to get coffee, walk to the beach, boardwalk, and all the cute shops & restaurants. When we were home the kids swam in the pool all day long! The only downside was the pool heater broke, but we were able to warm up in the hot tub. Great stay!
Great house in an even better location. The only negative is the size of the bedrooms and especially a few of the bathrooms. I do highly recommend this house if you're looking for a relaxing and enjoyable beach stay.
The house is exactly what it was advertised as. Plenty of rooms, nice comfortable beds, and very close to the ocean. The kitchen table seats many people so we were able to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The pool was a delight, my 6 year old swam every day many times a day. The only issue was that the air conditioner thought we wanted to be very cold. It kept the house at 65 degrees the entire time. It would have been great on warm days, but it was chilly most of the time we were there. It was not so much of a concern that I needed to get someone to come and fix it for us though.
We wish that there had been toilet paper included at the house, apparently we overlooked the fact that toilet paper was not included. There was a store just down the street that sold supplies, so we were back in order quickly.
All in all, it was a nice place to stay.
Loved the property. Had a few families in town for a baseball tournament, the open floor plan and multiple bead rooms were ideal. Close to beach and the strip too!
