This was to perfect place for our small group ice climbing for a long weekend. The kitchen was well appointed so we could make meals and the hot tub was perfect after a long day climbing. The place was very clean and the showers were nice and hot. Rebekah was easy to communicate with and there was good parking for all our cars.

Great views, hot jacuzzi tub, nice fire pit.

The beds were comfortable and both rooms had an en-suite which was an extra bonus. Well equipped kitchen. Good hangout spaces and close to tons of hiking.

Wish we could’ve stayed longer

Beautiful cabin with an excellent location to everything. Enjoyed a great view from the hot tub after a long day on the Alpine Loop. The cabin was spacious and comfortable for six adults.

This is a wonderful property. Spacious well equipped kitchen and family room. The walk in showers in both bedrooms was very nice. Beds were comfortable and the whole house is comfortable. The laundry room is great.

Great Stay!

Stayed here from July 14-17 2025. The place was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We stayed with another couple so it was nice to have two bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom. We brought our SxS to ride the Alpine Loop, and it was super convenient that we were able to ride from the house through town to get to the trails, restaurants, shops etc. The hot tub was also a nice bonus.

28 Peaks was really nice! We enjoyed the view over the city with the mountains in the background. Autumn is a great time to visit Lake City. It's cool, quiet and the aspens are golden and gorgeous. Lots of sights to see. This house is clean and well stocked. Huge kitchen with lots of utensils. We liked how private it was. Rebekah is a great host and very responsive. We'd love to come back.

Convenient and easy

Super convenient to town and the Alpine Loop, and the manager was easy to work with. I left a hat behind and they found it and mailed it straightaway! Cool place.

Perfect Location

This house was the perfect location for our hiking and 4-wheeling vacation. It has amazing views of the town and surrounding mountains from the deck. We watched the fireworks from the hot tub! The accommodations were exactly as listed and we had everything we needed in the house. Rebekah was quickly responsive to all my questions! Overall a wonderful time in Lake City.

Awesome getaway

Loved how secluded the town is. Was fun watching the wildlife. We got to see a few wolves up close! So neat! The views from the hot tub were amazing, especially with all the lights off at night. The stars were endless. Not many restaurants and the food market is tiny, definitely do your grocery shopping before you get into town =] The home was beautiful and very clean!
