To future guests: as mentioned in the listing, this is an upper/lower apartment house so you will hear creaks and people. The homes in Niagara Falls are old and usually have hardwood floors.
The photos online accurately reflected the unit. Overall, it was a good stay and communication was timely with James. I would recommend upgrading the bed linens and pillows as well as adding blackout blinds/curtains in the bedrooms - the exterior lights illuminated the bedrooms at night. The rental was clean overall but the bathroom could use a deep clean.
This spot was great for us. 5 adults. We walked to the falls, it should have taken 25 minutes to walk but we kept stopping to take pictures along the walking path, so it took a little longer. There’s enough room inside to hang together or have some space from each other as needed. Lots of charm and great furniture. The porch was a great bonus.
The apartment was clearly well taken care of and we enjoyed every bit of it, especially sitting out on the porch. The property is extremely close to pretty much everything you would want to see/do in Niagara Falls. We highly recommend staying here!
Property was clean and neat with an off street parking spot. Only a few minutes from the Falls so it was a quick drive to get to everything but secluded enough that we had our own spade to unwind at the end of the day.
We all loved the quiet neighborhood. So pretty, and especially loved sitting out on the balcony, watching the squirrels play. The house is perfect size and very nice. Would definitely stay here again.
Amazing place to stay! Nice antique vibe. The neighborhood was very quiet. 5-10min drive from everything, communication with James was very responsive. If available the next time would definitely consider staying here again!
We enjoyed our time at the falls and at the property. It was a perfect space for my family. The space was nice and beautifully redone. Pictures are accurate. We would definitely stay again!!!
We didn’t stay too long as we got in late night and had to leave early morning. But the place had a lovely old world charm with all the modern amenities. It has a lovely balcony which overlooks the tree lined streets. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Would definitely stay there again and relax there longer if we had more time.
This rental was beautiful and perfect for my group. The falls were a short drive away and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. Our host was easy to get ahold of and tended to the only issue we had (the internet connection) quickly & efficiently. I’d stay again and I would definitely recommend this property to a friend!
Directions were clear how to enter and leave the property so all my daughter and I had to do was show up. Really lovely place! The antique kitchen items really were a hit with my 20-year-old daughter, who thought they were great. Spacious rooms, very clean. Look forward to staying there again the next time we're in town.
Beautiful house, nice and quiet neighborhood.we felt safe coming and going. The front porch was nice sitting and visiting with each other, we would come again. But what could have been better is ( that the drain in bathroom sink was not clogged, The bathroom floor been mopped, the bedrooms floors been swifter for dust. Clean cushions on the porch. Everything about the house was nice, except the areas mentioned. But we would stay here again.

The drain was running slow and the plumber could not come out during the holiday, but it has since been fixed with a new drain line to the basement and all is well.
The property looks nice but is not that usable. The steps up to the unit are a hazard (steep and slippery). The grass was not cut, bad first impression. There were urine stains on the mattress pad when we stripped the bed before leaving. There was a rotten banana in one of the cupboards and the floor was not vacuumed well. Some of the beds were held up by chunks of wood. It was listed to sleep 6 but only one person could sleep in any of the beds. The mattresses and pillows were very soft and gave no support. We were a group of older individuals and the claw foot tub was unusable for bath or shower. This unit is not safe for older people or families with infants or young children. Also it really wasn't walking distance to the falls. The host was not very quick in replying to our text. We chose this property because it had a rating of 10. What were they thinking. I feel generous giving it a six.

Liked: Cleanliness
Pros:
Cute impression when first walked in.
Clean.
Great hot water.
Great A/C.
Claw foot tub is cool.
Close to Niagara Falls SP but still over a mile away.
Love the covered deck (we were on the upper unit).
Cons:
Small, dirty, rusty fridge. Not very cold and NO freezer so NO ice. The one shelf wouldn't stay in place.
Not a lot of cooking supplies but tons of cups and glassware.
One dirty sponge, a 3 oz bottle of dish soap about a third full.
No dishwasher.
No toaster. Or if that's a toaster oven there should be directions.
No extra bedding - no blankets. Hubby slept on coach cos double bed was too small and too uncomfortable for both of us. He had no cover(s).
Parking is very tight. We parked on the street.
Need room darkening shades or drapes to block out the 3 strings of lights behind the house, where parking is. Hard to fall asleep cos the rooms were too bright.
Not happy not getting check-in instructions until (less than) 2 hrs before check-in. I asked to get them earlier since I would be driving and got an abrupt answer from the owner.
We hope you enjoy your stay! We have multiple rentals throughout Niagara Falls and we strive to provide a clean, comfortable space for you. If you have any issues, please contact me right away.
Niagara Falls is great to visit any time of year. We have great hiking, restaurants, attractions and tons of scenic views. We have a casino if that is your thing, as well as a lot of shopping destinations. Niagara Falls is a great economic base for visits to Toronto, Buffalo, and even Rochester.
