Private getaway near wedding venues, breweries, wineries, and a dance hall.
Our house sits back on 9+ acres yet you are next door to a fantastic brewery, down the street from Mercer Street Dance Hall, and around the bend from Driftwood Vineyards. Dripping Springs is the wedding capital of Texas and our place puts you in great proximity to all those wonderful properties.
Recently renovated, this home has an open dining/living room space and a well-equipped kitchen. We have tried to incorporate what we love about other Vrbo properties to ensure you have what you need for a comfortable stay. But this area is about getting out and enjoying yourself, with so many activities within a short drive!
We are out in the country, so Internet is available, but not lightning fast. You may have to fire up the ol' DVD player (even if the kids don't know what that is). Our property is also a working bee farm and while the bees are in a fenced in area away from the house, it is important to leave them alone.
Owners live very close (but are not on property), so you will have privacy, but know someone can help you if you need it also.
Chances are that if you are looking at this house, you know what Dripping Springs and the surrounding area have to offer... but just in case, you can look forward to hiking at Pedernales Falls, tubing down the Guadalupe River, boating on Canyon Lake, riding motorcycles along the Devil's Backbone, wine tasting in Fredericksburg, shopping in Wimberley, beer tasting almost everywhere, and brunch at Dripping Springs Vodka and Distillery. The list of activities goes on and on.
Come and enjoy your stay!

Plenty of space and a bit of quiet. Nearby lots of the activities and venues in Dripping SpringsWe were in town for a wedding but could easily see staying here for a getaway weekend with friends
Great place to stay in Driftwood, TX area. 17 minutes drive to Wimberley where there’s a HEB grocery store, quaint shops and plenty of restaurants. This three bedroom house was perfect for us. There were two couples and one adult in our party who were all attending a friend’s birthday party nearby. Super clean, which we really appreciated. The owners keep it well maintained. Definitely, we would re-book in the future! Nice porch to relax out on that we didn’t unfortunately have time to use this time.
We had so much fun staying at this house in the country! It was a quiet and quaint place to stay for our group! Spacious house with big bedrooms! We will definitely be telling our friends about it!

We are so glad you appreciated our house. Come back anytime!
Everything about this home was comfortable, from the well appointed kitchen, comfortable living room, and comfortable beds. The property is lovely and the location is great! It’s a great place!
Everything was wonderful, if i had to find any critique it would be that there were some spider webs inside the house.

Thanks Trevor. We try to get all the spider webs eliminated before anyone stays with us, but it is hard to get 100% being we are in the country and surrounded by nature. I know our cleaning crew did a thorough cleaning after you left, so hopefully that helps. We appreciate your positive review and hope you consider staying with us again. You were an easy guest!
Place was just as described.. All went smoothly and would definitely recommend to anyone that’s visiting . Kai this host is very helpful and responds quickly.
We enjoyed our stay at this house away from the hustle bustle of town. While some may find the location a bit isolated, the house was clean and spacious with a well-equipped kitchen.
Comfortable space with lots of room! We enjoyed the chairs on the patio and playing card games in the living room.
Only issue was the Keurig coffee pot is not working - tried multiple outlets, but couldn't get it to turn on.

Thanks for reviewing and letting us know. I will check the Keurig immediately. We were wondering why it was moved. We are happy to respond immediately if you let us know. We all need our morning coffee.
Great property. Sometimes when it says that the owners are on the property, you are in their backyard. Not so here. It is very private. It would be great for families with kids. Even a small playground. We had my 86 year old mom with a walker and some dementia for her grandson’s wedding nearby. It is not ADA. But one shower did have a shower head that could be pulled down to accommodate my mom who needs a shower chair, that we brought . She couldn’t get her walker through the master bath door. However I do rate this property high. Pictures are accurate.
This property was conveniently located for a wedding in Driftwood. We arrived at 3:00 but would have been able to access the house sooner had we needed to ( our pregnant daughter was a member of the wedding party and thought she might need access earlier than 3:00. Turns out she did not) Super clean, super cute. Anything we might need was available. Well appointed kitchen. Big thirsty towels in the baths. Soft sheets.Kai was so helpful with all my questions. I can't say enough good things about this location.
