Outside we have a patio to enjoy sitting and relaxing listening to the river and grilling out along with 2 wood fire pits. Inside you can hear the river from both bedrooms. We have a fully stocked kitchen available for your use. One bedroom has a Queen sized bed, and the other has 2 twin beds. Although our home is small, it's very cozy and comfortable. Kitchen towels, dish washing detergent, trash bags, hand soap and a dishwasher are provided for your use. Bathroom towels and wash cloths are also provided with bedroom linens. We have 3 smart tvs and a DVD player along with high speed internet (100mbps) for your convenience. There are 2 outside fire pits, we try to keep wood there, but it's not always guaranteed. We have a pack and play (and sheet) and high chair in the closet of the big bedroom. Other items may be available upon request. We do welcome dogs for a $25 pet fee. No CATS. We are 12 miles from the entrance to skyline drive and with in 30 miles to UVA. Conveniently located!

This is a great pet friendly rental in a peaceful riverside setting. We loved laying in bed and listening to the river, sitting outside and watching the bumble bees and butterflies flying around. The scenery is beautiful and there is easy access to hiking. Would absolutely recommend staying here.
I was able to stay a couple of days at this lovely house. Loved the location and the stream right next to the house. Perfect size for us and our dog. We hope to stay again in the future.
We absolutely loved our stay here! Being able to hear the river all the time was dreamy. Everything in the house was clean and comfortable. It was perfect for us and we would love to return in the future!
The whole house was clean and fully stocked with all the essentials. The description was accurate and the host was very friendly and communicative! Very child friendly; would definitely stay here again!
The Home had everything we needed and was in a lovely setting. The kitchen was well stocked for use and even provided my morning coffee, which was greatly appreciated. It enabled us to bring our dogs with us when visiting our family nearby. The set up is very family friendly with games, books, and space needed for all ages. Hope to come back when the weather is warm to enjoy some fishing and walks along the river
This property is a very pet friendly cottage in the woods by a stream. It was a very relaxing week away. Dana was very accommodating and a good communicator. We took advantage of all the things to do in the area, Shenandoah National Park, Shenandoah River State Park and Luray Caverns. We even took walks along the stream. We loved it!
Loved the peaceful location next to a stream. Lots of special touches like autumn decorations. Comfortable bed.

The House in the Holla was perfect for our weekend getaway! Very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed sitting out by the creek and relaxing. Great location for trips into Shenandoah National Park. The host has brochures and books for activities in the area.
Yes, the kitchen was well equipped. The place was very near the Shenandoah national forest which we enjoyed. Only issue was the mattress in the one bedroom was not comfortable.
The house was very clean. Kitchen had all the pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Bathroom was very clean with all the towels and wash cloths you could ever need. The bedrooms were so comfortable. We loved that it had a travel pack n play and high chair for our toddler. Made traveling with all our toddlers things a little easier. Our dogs had a great stay, nice and open for them to stretch out. Our host even left us some fresh eggs which was so appreciated and enjoyed! The river was absolutely beautiful and loved sitting by the fire pits.
Very clean, comfortable, and so peaceful. We spent a lot of time sitting by the creek. It was absolutely perfect! In a wonderful location with the national park entrance very close by. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend, especially to small families. There’s also a nearby restaurant with fabulous views and great food and service (Bearrr Appetit). It’s
Excellent location and amenities in a quaint home. The house was well stocked with everything we needed including some farm fresh eggs. Beautiful location with the creek right outside our window and great access to Shenandoah National Park. We plan to come back and stay longer next time!
