El Altozano – a villa near the historic center of Malaga, close to museums and attractions. This beautifully decorated villa is located on a quiet street near the Gibralfaro fortress built in the 14th century, Malagueta beach and park areas and offers sea views from several terraces and all of the rooms inside. The five-bedroom villa with its own private swimming pool accommodates nine to ten guests and is especially suitable for example, two families or several couples.

The spacious living room and dining room have direct access to the covered terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is an outdoor terrace in front of it for eating outside. The master bedroom and the bedroom on the second floor have their own bathrooms. The other three bedrooms are located on the ground floor and share two bathrooms together. Each of the three bedrooms has double beds that can also be separated into single beds. All rooms have air conditioning and heating. The elevator in the villa guarantees that the villa is also suitable for people with reduced mobility.

The upper terrace of the villa has a swimming pool and sun loungers, from which it is easy to admire the beautiful sea view. The lower terrace has a fireplace, grill and a comfortable group of sofas, as well as its own small "bodega" (bar). The villa has a private parking for two cars..

The villa is located about less than two kilometers from the beach, restaurants and beach bars. Málaga city center can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes or by bus. The bus stop is about 100 meters from the villa.

Incredible Views and Room to Move

We enjoyed a fantastic eight day stay in this villa atop a hill overlooking the sea in Malaga. As a group comprised of seven teens and adults, from two families, we had plenty of room for gathering together...or finding quiet places for a nap or some alone time. The place was well appointed with all the basics one needs on holiday. I will say that we are all relatively fit and in good health. This is relevant because the journey down to the beach or the city center is about a 15 minute hike. The walk back is was never a problem for us, but I could imagine the struggle for those that are older or with mobility issues. That being said, a cab ride back to the villa was never more than $10...so we took advantage of that option often. On the whole, great place for a great value. We can't say enough about Malaga the city. So many places to eat, drink and people watch. We are Americans, and used to sandy Florida style beaches...that is NOT what you get in Malaga...but with so much to do in town...who wants to sit on the beach anyway?

Schönes Haus, mit viel Platz und Equipment für 6 Personen. Das Haus bietet Schlafmöglichkeiten für 9 Personen allerdings nicht für alle Essensmöglichkeiten. dafür ist die Terrasse zu klein und auch das Esszimmer. Viel Kunstvolles Interieur, was das Haus besonders macht. Im Großen und Ganzen ein sehr toller Urlaub an einer schöne Ecke von Malaga.

Thank you for your comments and nice to hear that you had a good time in our house. We have often had dinners for 8-9 people at the big round dining table inside and also on the terrace. Some of the dining table's chairs have been moved downstairs, because there are rarely more than 6 people eating at the same time.
