About this property

Large Suite 2 beds plus Murphy full, Victorian Farm Style, Downtown Plainfield

Enjoy this Large - Private Suite; comfortable one to two bedroom options within a large Victorian-Farm style home, in historic, downtown Plainfield, IL. This property is 2 blocks to downtown Plainfield, consisting of many restaurants, shops, and breweries, coupled with a large park & nature area with a river running through it. A neighborhood pool, parks and more. Is near Naperville, Crest Hill, Shorewood, Joilet, Bolingbrook and Romeoville.

This unit is large, on the second floor. One bedroom has a Queen bed, recently added another comfy Queen bed into the large dinning room (creating a bedroom there soon since it has a nice walkin closet). The other bed is a Murphy Bed Full size, which can be relocated to any room, now next to the Jack-n-style bathroom in the pictures. The Large eat-in Kitchen, the large diningroom with a butler's pantry and large livingroom are great gathering spaces. And for long term stays its okay to customize ;-)
Guest access:
Walk up a flight of stairs to the large, Private Suite with warm furnishings... Plenty of sunlight too.
Other things to note:
Laundry, large capacity that is in the basement and shared with other units to schedule their usuage. The basement has rooms with tenants's storage and occasionally a room is rented as well with a temp guest or tenant or a family member or property manager and will keep to their self unless guests would like too. The Laundry mat is with 2 blocks as well.
Parking: exterior is free and garage parking is available per a fee tho...

Why they chose this property

Love the proximity to family, friends and the feel of the suburbs - downtown too. A nice walk, bike or ride through the neighborhood to enjoy the nature and architecture of properties. Then visit the mom-n-pop restaurants, the shops and then go to listen for music performances nights at either Old Town, Irish Tymes, the Garage and Werk Force Brewery. During the summer, Plainfield has a nice schedule of activities. Please, ask for more details, thanks ;-)

What makes this property unique

This large property is spacious, with plenty of room (6 rooms). Great for long stays with all the essentials and more. The kitchen boasts the culinary enthusiasts: has a bonus pantry filled with baking items too. The tall windows bring in a lot of light. Great place to entertain family with the kitchen table and or the nice dinning room and living room. Plus, has a nice yard (large apple tree to eat apples when ripe, a large evergreen (lights on winter season), can grill n eat on the patio). 2 parking spots are free. Garage space/s, if available is a monthly charge tho. Walking distance to downtown Plainfield and to many places like the strip mall (Plainfield Plaza Shopping Center: restaurants: Mexican, Pizza: Fire grilled, Jimmy John's, grocery with deli, liquor store, laundry mat, kid care n more) a block away. Bowling with game arcade n bar/restaurant is a couple blocks. Schools, nature preserve with paths and a lake to fish n more.
