Fully immersed in the serene beauty of the great outdoors, this woodland oasis in Rhododendron is a place for unforgettable mountain adventures. Spend your days walking to the banks of the Sandy River, skiing or biking the renowned slopes of Mt. Hood, and soaking in the hot tub in the fresh alpine air.

This single-story home sits in a half-acre clearing of a lush forest grove, about half a block up the road from the river. So much is at your fingertips, including the Sandy Ridge Trail System (less than two miles), Wildwood Recreation Site (three miles), the Three Nines Golf Course (five miles), and the Ramona Falls Trailhead (10 miles). For world-class skiing, head to Mt. Hood Skibowl (16 miles), Timberline (23 miles), or Mt. Hood Meadows (27 miles).

After a summer day of hiking or fishing, come home to unwind in the beautiful outdoor spaces. Light the gas grill for a barbecue, set up the lounge chairs on the spacious deck or lawn, and gather around the firepit for s'mores and stories as the sun goes down.

Built in 2016, the house has a bright openness to it, with the large living room offering generous windows and seating around a smart TV. There's a well-equipped kitchen with a spacious eat-in table, and an adjacent laundry room to refresh your clothes overnight. Of the bedrooms (all with window AC), one is a primary suite with a soaking tub, a separate shower, and a walk-in closet. Central heating, high-speed WiFi, and an electric vehicle charger are provided as well.

Family get away
Nice clean home. Spacious fir a family of 7 with 2 dogs. A few minor issues; not all burners in stove worked, front bathroom toilet handle sticks, master bathroom light over shower about to fall out. Nothing that really hindered our stay.

It was alright
I’ll tell you what was wrong with it, other than that great! Tub in Master suite drains- drain doesn’t seal shut. Hot water isn’t hot. Hot tub was low on water, stinky and gross! Annoying considering the tubs were main reason being we’d be on the mountain all day… The MAIN burner does not work on the stove.

Great spot for skiing trip
Well maintained house with everything we needed for our ski trip to Mt. Hood! Nestled back in the woods, we could hear the river from the house which was such a nice treat. The yard was great for the dogs and the house fit our family of 5 perfectly. The table was nice and big so we could all sit down together for meals. I loved the small touches of soap and teas to make the stay more comfortable. Would certainly stay again.
