We had a great time. The place accommodated us for what we needed. Hot tub was a bit mirky but there was a chemical they had that we were able to put in and made it a little better. There isn’t a bathroom upstairs and only 1 bathroom which ended up being ok but may not be for others.
I cannot praise this cabin enough! It was the perfect play to stay a couple nights to finish off our vacation from the coast. So cozy and peaceful. I could see us booking a stay here again. Thank you!
You could hear the river from the backyard, which was pleasant. Main bed was comfortable, but watch your head (lower beam). It was a good base for some Mt Hood activities. Overall a nice stay.
Loved this cute little stay! 9 of us squeezed into every available space and we were so thankful for a house that brought us all together! The hot tub was amazing too!
Cute little house, very private as long as no one is staying on the main house. Easy access to fantastic hiking and decent food options nearby. It should be noted, however, that the only bathroom is on the bottom floor with the bunk room, living room, kitchen. The bedrooms with the bigger beds are upstairs. The bathroom could use a few more towel hooks as well.
I had such a wonderful time at this house! I was there during really hot weather but the AC kept us cool. The fenced back yard was perfect for me and my dogs. I hope to return!!
Spent three nights with two families of four. It would have been nice to have had a second full bath and dining room table, but we travel a lot together and made the most of it. Great location for easy access to Government Camp and places to eat in Zig Zag. Would stay again.
The house was wonderful! The location was nice. The towels were a bit musty, the light switches were abundant and confusing, and the down the street neighbor had a Trump flag. Be careful out there y’all!

"From the owner: Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry you ran into issues during your stay. I wasn’t made aware of the toilet or hot tub concerns while you were here, so I couldn’t step in at the time, but I’ve since followed up to make sure everything is in good shape. I’m also reviewing our check-in communication so arrival details are clear and timely. If anything ever feels off, please reach out during your stay so I can help quickly. Thank you again, and I’m committed to providing a clean, comfortable home and an easy arrival for future guests."
From the sound and the glimmer of the river in the distance, to the cozy inside of the cabin this place is perfect for a little mountain getaway. We loved everything about it and were glad to have our dog welcome also. Don't expect to find something close to as good as this place is. The host was very accommodating and even left some snacks in the kitchen for our stay. Comfortable, clean, and well worth treating yourself to this little gem. Thank you for sharing your space with our family and others.
We are a family of five (12yo, 6yo, 5yo) and we had a wonderful start here to our Christmas vacation. We felt like we walked into a home, not a vacation rental. Beds were very comfortable and the wood burning fireplace made us so cozy nobody wanted to leave! The hot tub was perfect and maintenance instructions were easy to follow. We brought our own towels for the hot tub (not necessary) and our own towels for our dogs paws. We always clean her paws before entering our home and we wanted to do the same here. Location is ideal! My husband did some snowboarding at night up at Timberline and it made for a quick drive being so close. We did not let our girls explore out back on their own as there is no fence and a significant drop off. We kept our dog on leash which was no trouble at all. Other than that it was wonderful and we will definitely be back!
