Cozy mountain cabin retreat with HEAT PUMP for air conditioning or heat. Located in the mountains just a few minutes from lake Almanor and Mountain town of Chester.Creeks, Hunting, Fishing, UTV or ATV mountain off-roading , within 2-3 miles distance.... Winter is special and beautiful with snow and perfect setting for Christmas and Thanksgiving away . 2 blocks away within walking distance is a quaint restaurant offering home cooked food. All towns people are very friendly welcoming all who visit. Spring is delightful in the pine tree setting all around. and the aroma of pine where squirrels, rabbits, deer are visible everywhere in the rustling woods..

This was the perfect spot for us to explore Lassen. The full kitchen allowed us to cook and prep lunches. The weather was chilly when we’re were there but the heater is great and there were lots of blankets. We used the grill and enjoyed the local restaurant. The cabin had everything we needed!

Debi and Milt's place was charming. It was spacious yet extremely cozy. The perfect cabin in the woods and close to Mount Lassen. Not far off the main road but very quiet. We were fortunate with the weather to do some great stargazing. Very well equipped. We lacked for nothing. Thank you for sharing your home.

Lassen is amazing, of course. The house is close to the park. The kitchen in the house is well stocked with cookware and the house is comfortable. We also enjoyed the nearby cafe as they make an excellent Latte and have an extensive desert menu.

This cabin was perfect for our three night stay. We spent 2 full days at Lassen Volcanic National Park - such an easy drive from the cabin. There’s lots of extras in the cabin that most hosts don’t think about leaving for guests. We recommend this cabin to others and would certainly stay here again if we were in the area.

The cabin was just right for four of us - two parents and two adult kids - as a base camp while attending a local wedding. It was clean, quiet, towels supplied, and with easy parking. We would happily rent here again.

Lovely spot to enjoy home comforts while accessing the southwest entrance to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Nine miles to the entrance! Pay attention to your gas gauge! Top it off if you are coming in through Chester. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom items. Enjoyed both the front porch and the rear deck. Enjoyed the little community with evening walks.

We stayed in Debbie's cabin for two nights. The cabin was remarkably clean, comfortable, well-furnished, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was very well-equipped. We found most of the condiments we needed for cooking. The bathroom was nice and had all the towels and toiletries that we needed. The cabin had Starlink internet to help us stay connected. In addition, there were many thoughtful extras in the cabin.Debbie was very accommodating and quick in responding too. At first, only our family of three was staying. Later, another couple joined in. Our daughter did not want to sleep on a king bed with us (we are tiny people), so Debbie arranged an air mattress for her. This solved our problem.So, we had a very enjoyable stay in Debbie's cabin.
