About this property

Lakefront Home Offering Sweeping Views of Lake Michigan with Beach Access

Conveniently located between Sheboygan and Manitowoc off picturesque Lakeshore Drive you will find our house on the bluff overlooking beautiful Lake Michigan. Enjoy amazing sunrises, sweeping views of the lake and the sound of the waves hitting the shores while you spend time with family and friends at this great lake property.

Welcome to Seagull Shores, our home on Lake Michigan. Once you enter the house your eyes will immediately go to the wall of windows facing the beautiful view of the big lake. The first floor features a formal dining room with seating for 8, full kitchen with granite countertops, all appliances, cookware and utensils. You will also find a generous amount of glassware for entertaining. The large living room boasts leather couches and chairs facing the gas fireplace and 65" TV. A spotting scope will help you decipher what exactly is that object on the horizon. Also on the first floor you will find a game room featuring a full sized 64-game arcade air hockey and foosball tables for friendly competition. If table and board games interest you the buffet in the dining room is stocked full of them. From Bingo to Mancala, Puzzles to Cribbage there is something for everyone on the days you just want to stay inside and enjoy the house. Venture through the kitchen out to the sunroom with seating for 8 to soak up some morning sun and enjoy the beauty and traquility of the property. You will also find a half bath on the first floor.

Up the stairs to the second floor are the four bedrooms of the house. The master bedroom has an ensuite master bath featuring a jacuzzi tub along with shower, double sink and toilet. The master bedroom features a king sized bed, walk in closet, accent chairs and a 42" streaming TV. Enjoy your morning coffee (or nightcap) on the private second floor balcony off the master bedroom overlooking Lake Michigan and the expansive back yard. Bedrooms two and three feature queen sized beds, 42" streaming TV's along with closets. The fourth bedroom features two twin extra long beds, a 42" streaming TV and closet. The second floor also has the laundry room with washer and dryer.
Laundy soap and dryer sheets are provided for our guests. The second full bathroom can be found in the upstairs hallways as well. A tub/shower combo, double sink, toilet and additional towels can be found in the closet in the bathroom.

The property also allows for access to two bays of the attached garage. We recommend using the garage for all winter guests as snow plowing will be done the mornings after a snow.

Step out into the yard and enjoy the huge lot overlooking the big lake. Soft seating for 10 can be found right outside the house on the concrete patio along with a Weber grill for outdoor grilling. Venture into the backyard and relax on the adirondack chairs circling the steel forged firepit. A new stairway at the top of the bluff will take you down to the sand beach below. At the base of the stairway you will find two kayaks along with two paddleboards secured to the wooden stairwell. At the conclusion of their use, please return and secure them the way you found them. There are lifejackets in the garage and are required by law for anyone 16 or under using either watersport. We highly recommend them for all our guests as the lake has many personalities and our guest's safety is our top priority. Take walks up and down the sand beaches of Lake Michigan or hunt for sea glass right at the base of the stairway. Beach chairs, kids shovels and sand toys are provided for your enjoyment. Back on top, yard games including cornhole, Giant Jenga, Kubb, pickleball and more are all provided and can be found in the garage.

The house, while located away from the city life, is a short drive to the port cities of Manitowoc (15 minutes) or Sheboygan (20 minutes). We are only 15 minutes to Whistling Straits, 45 minutes from Green Bay, 1 hour and 15 minutes from Milwaukee and 2 hours and 30 minutes from Chicago. The property is perfect for family getaways, workations, golf vacations, Packer games and so much more. The short drive to the port cities of Manitowoc or Sheboygan gives you endless attractions from world renowned art exhibits to WWII submarine tours, riverwalks full of shops and award winning restaurants. In the months of May to October venture to Downtown Manitowoc and catch a glimpse of the SS Badger; the only coal operated car/passenger ferry operating on the Great Lakes. Trips from Manitowoc, WI to Ludington, MI are daily with the boat leaving port around 2pm each day. The riverwalk in Sheboygan is full of charterboats ready to take you out to the big lake for your chance at hooking a monster Lake Trout or Salmon. Cleaning service is provided once you arrive back to shore. The riverwalk is lined with shops and award winning restaurants. We share a few of our favorites in our guidebook at the property. Located 15 minutes from Whisting Straits, home of the 2021 Ryder Cup and multiple PGA Championships, this is the perfect place to stay during your golf vacation. We highly recommend reservations for golf and any fishing excursions well in advance of your arrival.

Wildlife is in view year round with fox, deer, eagles and more frequenting the property. Get away from it all at Seagull Shores, our home on the bluff.

A wonderful week
Our family just spent a wonderful week in this beautiful house. Why was it wonderful? Very clean. Well-stocked. Everything we needed to cook for family celebrations. Gorgeous views. Magnificent sunrises. Crystal clear night skies. Amazing walks along a quiet beach, despite high winds and snow. Birthing of a calf at Farm Wisconsin. Birthday celebration. Air hockey and arcade games. Comfy couches for reading. Evenings in front of the fireplace. The only thing we did not do was use the fire pit. Just a bit chilly. Aaron and Jennifer were very easy to reach and extremely responsive. We all had a wonderful time and look forward to returning.

Immaculate Home, Spectaculars Views
We were fortunate to be able to find this gem. We are a group of friends who needed some time away to relax and reconnect. This home allowed us to do just that! We are all lovers of the lake and beaches. The backyard offers both. The walkability of the beach was wonderful, the views of the water never a disappointment. The colors painted on the water by mother nature never ceased to amaze. The beauty that surrounds you keeps you on the property, but there is much to do a short drive away. Our visit was short, the memories, forever. The hosts of this home have given attention to every detail. They are attentive but not smothering. The home is immaculate and offers 4 spacious bedrooms. Extremely comfortable furniture throughout. We were a group of adults, but young families will find plenty of room to play and enjoy. Easy check-in and check out. They are the epitome of the definition of "Host".

About the host

Host profile image
We have been addicted to the hospitality industry for 30 years, primarily on the restaurant side, but know what we love about a good spot to relax when we get the time to travel. We moved to the Sheboygan area in 2006 and instantly fell in love with the area. There is something about the big lake that draws you to it. The local cities of Sheboygan and Manitowoc do an amazing job of showcasing the river and lake front with Sheboygan's Riverfront District and Manitowoc and Two River's Mariners Trail as a few of our top picks. We began hosting in 2022 and currently have three units in the same building in Sheboygan on South Pier that we offer year round to travelers looking to come to Sheboygan and spend some time in the Malibu of the Midwest. Check out those properties VRBO #3269561 VRBO #2702880 and VRBO #3108096. We added this property in the summer of 2023 and look forward to sharing this home with our VRBO guests.

Why they chose this property

We wanted to find a place that was on the lake away from the activity found in both Manitowoc and Sheboygan. Our home is in the country, sharing the bluff with a few other lake homes, located halfway between Manitowoc and Sheboygan. The setting is peaceful, the noise at night is nothing more than the sound of the waves hitting the shoreline. Amazing moonrises, star filled skies and daily views of the lake are what make this place so special.

What makes this property unique

We feel the location of the property is tough to beat. We offer a wide array of amenities along with amazing views of the lake and beach access right from the rear of the property. The house is well appointed in both decor and amenities. Our status as Premier Hosts should put any concern at ease as we try to make every stay a memorable one.
