Our Dancing Bear or Brookhill 39 is located at the exclusive Whiteface Club & Resort offering a private beach area, marina, golf, tennis, hiking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing and 3 great restaurants and all within walking distance. This immaculately kept 1280 square foot lower level condo has a walk out patio into the lawn with great views of the mountains and Lake Placid. It is a stylish two bedroom, two bath condo overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. Enjoy our high end Adirondack décor and furnishings, tasteful art work, wood burning stone fireplace, jacuzzi bath tub, newly renovated full gourmet kitchen, high speed Wi-Fi internet, three HD LCD TVs, premium cable and surround sound. A queen size sleeper sofa in the living room gives our unit additional sleeping capacity.

We invite you to Lake Placid to savor its all season appeal with world class downhill and cross country skiing, snowboarding, figure and speed skating, snowshoeing, bobsled and luge runs, tobogganing, snowmobiling and dog sledding in the winter, championship golf courses, tennis on clay courts, boating and swimming on the pristine lake, hiking and mountain biking in the summer. Its glorious weather extremes range from winter wonderland to warm and sunny temperate conditions.

Our convenient location on the Whiteface Club and Resort property is just three miles from the center of Lake Placid Village with its Winter Olympic venues and only twelve miles from Whiteface Mountain.

Great condo in Lake Placid

We have stayed at Dancing Bear several times and love the condo and the beautiful view out to Lake Placid. We are a family of four and it is a very comfortable place for us. We plan to keep returning!

Great property and location. Convenient to downtown Lake Placid, but in a quiet setting outside of the hustle of downtown. The property has everything you would need for your stay. Has a cozy feel and great views. The online pictures accurately reflect the place. Owner was very responsive to the 1 question we had. We will definitely be back.

Terrific location, great view of mountains and Lake Placid. Very close to town and all necessary shopping. Quiet, well equipped, comfortable. King size bed was so tall I needed a stool to get into bed.

Whiteface, Lake Placid and Adirondack Charm

We visited Lake Placid to catch the total eclipse of the sun and were lucky enough to stay in this cozy condo. Check in was a breeze; the property manager called to check in to see if we needed anything and the views of Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain were gorgeous. We loved the Adirondack decor and location was just minutes away from town, shopping and Olympic attractions. Hope to rent again soon.

Perfect mountain getaway

The condo was perfect for our ski weekend. Everything was spotless when we arrived and all the amenities we could hope for were provided. The kitchen was well-stocked, the firewood for the wood-burning fireplace was plentiful, and there were extra towels for the jacuzzi tub. The beds were very comfortable and the views of the lake and mountains were fantastic. Rudy was an excellent host. We could not have asked for a better experience. We hope to stay here again next time we ski Whiteface!

Fantastic stay!

We had an amazing 10 days here - it was honestly the most relaxing vacation we’ve had in a long time! The condo was very clean, decorated in traditional Adirondack style (the pics are accurate), and the kitchen was very well stocked, which we really appreciated! It had all the pots and pans, silverware and utensils and even seasonings etc. we needed. I was able to easily cook our meals here. The condo is on beautiful resort property which is pretty to walk around. Despite it being in a building with other condos in it we felt as though we were the only ones there. It was so quiet and relaxing to be there and we all slept incredibly well on the comfortable beds. The walk down to the beach was about 6-7 min but we didn’t mind at all, and you can always drive down close to it if you like. Parking is right next to the condo. The tennis courts are right next door, and the Moosehead Restaurant is right next to the lakefront beach. My husband and son played golf on the beautiful course at the resort. Supermarket and pharmacy are 5 min away. Drive to town is about 7 min which was so convenient. There is also a washer/dryer so no laundry to do when we returned home - big plus! The owner, Rudy, was extremely responsive and gave us a fantastic list of things to do and see which really helped us plan our visit. Everything was easy and close and convenient, it felt like home. We loved the working fireplace as well. lThanks Rudy!

Great Location

Condo was in a great location, close to Whiteface Mountain and Olympic sights. It was clean and comfortable, although the living area furniture is a bit worn. Kitchen was well equipped although we could have used some food containers to store leftovers when we cooked. No AC so it did get quite warm for us even with the fans but that might not be a problem for some people. We loved sitting at the marina and the food was good at the restaurant on the lake.

Wonderful Week In Lake Placid

It was such a wonderful week. The property was just perfect for the four of us. We enjoyed the jet tub, fireplace, and cozy space. Cross country skiing right out the front door. Snowboarding at Whiteface. Hiking at the waterfalls. Just a great week.
