Lake access just minutes away, minutes from main st & shopping area. Close to wineries, breweries, ski resort, CMAC & activities. Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends or family vacay.

As you ascend the stairs of The Grey Lady, you will be greeted with gorgeous lake views from the wraparound deck, with features ample dining and lounge seating areas. Plenty of free parking for up to 5 cars is provided in the driveway.

As you enter, you will find an open floor plan with cathedral ceiling, modern kitchen, dining area and reading nooks. Enjoy gorgeous lake views through the wall of windows!

The kitchen is well-stocked with any tool you may need, including spices and oil. There is a propane gas grill on the deck for outdoor cooking. Melamine dishes are provided for outdoor dining.

The second floor also features a half bath, as well as the primary bedroom with ensuite bathroom, king bed and tv.

Downstairs you will find a comfy entertainment room with 55" HDTV and apple tv. Guests are welcome to use the laundry room with front-loading washer & dryer. This floor as has a full bathroom with shower/tub combo, 2 bedrooms + bonus room. The bed layout on this floor is 1 king, 1 full & 1 twin, 1 queen. All the bedrooms feature memory foam mattresses, dressers, closets and luggage racks. All bedding and towels are 100% cotton, with plenty of pillows, blankets and beach towels provided.

Finally, relax in the evenings around the garden area fire pit with cocktails, s'mores and conversation. The property is close to everything but feels very secluded.

Need activities? The house is a short 8 minute drive to downtown, CMAC and shopping area with Wegmans, Walmart and Lakeshore wines. Not far away are tasting rooms, Other Half Brewing (recommended!), Bristol Mountain, City of Rochester and nearby lakes (Seneca, Keuka and Honeoye) Two boat launches are 5 minutes away, as well as Onanda Park and Butler Beach for swimming and sunbathing.

Lovely Girls Weekend

We spent two nights for a lovely girls weekend getaway at this stunning home. The home was beautiful and very clean. It was very well stocked and has an amazing view of the lake. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit one evening too. Its located close enough to town but feels secluded and private. The host was very responsive and helped recommend a place to have lunch in town. All in all its a beautiful home and would absolutely stay here again.

The grey lady didn't disappoint

Our family of five spent a long weekend at the Grey Lady for a ski trip to Bristol Mountain. The accommodations were great - we were so pleased with our stay and the location was picture perfect!

Amazing!!!

This property is so beautiful! The pictures listed online are very accurate. Everything was clean and easily accessible. The check in process was smooth. The property manager lays out well communicated rules for the house. The view of the lake is amazing! We slept so well! It was a short drive to Bristol Mountain. I can’t brag on this place enough it was so great. My only suggestion for families with small children is bring your own outlet covers, baby gates and cabinet locs for extra safety for the little ones. Other than that, this property was spectacular. Perfect for a fun filled but intimate family/friends weekend.

Beautiful well-maintained home - but incredibly high cleaning fees and lack of onsite support

I was thrilled to book this property for a last minute get away. The property was very well maintained with everything you could need in the kitchen, etc. However, cleaning fee was incredibly high equating to a 3rd night in fees. The host required guests to strip beds, remove trash and run dishes, etc. which is easy enough, but seemed very odd given the previously mentioned cleaning charges. As forecasted there was a snowstorm, but there was no proactive communication and I had to reach out re: snow covered stairs and plow service. The stairs were never cleared and the plow didn't come before I left. While I was very happy with the property I would not rebook given the issues mentioned.
