Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Set both main-level thermostats to 73°.
Ensure ALL lights (inside and out) are turned off.
Strip used beds and pile linens/towels in the laundry area.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Parking: Use the driveway and right side of house. DO NOT park on the neighbor’s lawn across the street.
Trailers: Use the overflow parking area located at the end of the road around the corner.
Trash: Thursday pickup (roll bin to top of driveway Wednesday night). Overflow trash goes to the end of Lovely Valley Rd (turn right out of driveway).

Beautiful property with plenty of room for the family

We had a wonderful time with great grandparents, grandparents, parents, children, and grandchildren at this beautiful property on the lake. Hosts were great and prompt to reply if we had any questions. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the lake house, it was just perfect for our family. It was wonderful having such close access to the lake, and being able to watch the children from the fabulous back porch. The porch is amazing, we spent the entire week out there when everyone wasn't boating or swimming. Thank you!

Sunrise Spectacular !

Communication was great ! The couple of small things i needed addressed were addressed promptly... There is plenty of room for a larger group with out everyone being stscked on top of each other... The house was well stocked with cleaning supplies and cookware... The fire pit was welcoming and there were firestarters there for easy use. We thouroughly enjoyed the use of the hot tub, and it was somple to use. With a larger group the 5 bathrooms were life saving. The neighbors were friendly and the area was absolutely beautiful !!! The sunrise from the master bedroom was definitely something to look forward to every morning and the reflection of the sun on the lake was so serene. The deck was beyond description, just absolutely beautiful!

Great house and property on SML!

Our family had a great time at this property on Smith Mountain Lake. The house was perfect for our family. The huge deck allowed plenty of room to spread out and relax. The house's location on the lake is great for fishing and not on the main drag so there were not many boats passing by, which made for a quiet and relaxing week. House is also only minutes from Kroger, the marinas, and places to eat. The backyard is perfect, with a gentle slope to dock, not step and unusable like many properties on the lake. We used the fire pit multiple times. Our dog loved the boat slip and was able to run right into the water without having to jump off the dock. We rented a boat and had no trouble tying up to the dock. House is well equipped for any kind of cooking or grilling. House also had life vets available for our use on the boat. Multiple fridges allowed us to keep drinks cold without running out to buy ice. The owners were very responsive to all our questions and work diligently to address an issue with the hot tub. We will be coming back for sure!
