We gathered my husband’s family (8 adults and 7 kids) from across the county for a summer vacation together in the Smokies. We loved both the house and the community it is located in (the pool was a huge plus!). Each room having its own bathroom was a game changer and the outdoor decks provided the sense of being alone in the woods, despite still being close to town and all the amenities. Communications with the host company were seamless and information provided in advance was very helpful. As noted, you will need some of your own supplies if you stay for a week like we did (toiletries beyond a bar of soap, dish and laundry detergent, trash bags), but the host was very clear about that up front. We would absolutely recommend and stay there again!

This propery was very spacious and nice for gathering. It was relatively clean with the exception of random cockroaches that would pop up. The wifi was terrible and not reliable. Basic necessities such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, pot holder, etc were not available or provided. The bottom drawer of the fridge was broken, along with the water and ice maker. They have plenty of dishes and utensils. Any communication or questions about the property must go through property management company- they will not respond to you on VRBO and it does not state that anywhere. We will look for another place to stay on our next visit.
the cabin was not very clean. There was a diaper under the bed upon arrival. Glass on the rug in the living room.
Dealt with cockroaches daily.
Had to keep going outside the cabin and flip the breaker to the outlets in the kitchen.
TVs in most the rooms did not work and internet was spotty.
Our check-in process was super easy and convenient. Upon arrival the cabin appeared clean and well maintained. Everyone had a comfortable bed and attached bath to each room. After we settled in we noticed that the oven door glass was broken on the inside into large pieces and that the outside grill was very dirty and not operating. With 16 people staying we had plans on cooking the majority of our meals at the cabin, but with both the oven and grill being in the state they were we messaged the property manager right away and they responded quickly. We ended up taking the pieces of glass out of the oven ourselves as they advised it was usable. They brought over a small charcoal grill typically used for tailgating a few days later and then dropped off a new large grill the last day of our stay. We did see a few cockroaches during our stay as well. We chose this cabin because of all the extra amenities they listed such as the movie room, PS4, and pool table in case we had rainy days or just for the kids to relax with after our days out exploring the area, but unfortunately, the wifi was extremely spotty (could not watch a single movie or show in its entirety) and there wasn't a PS4 there. We enjoyed the cabin, nevertheless, and made the best of our downtime during our stay.
