NEW boat slip and wave runner lifts are now available to enjoy Lake Life at the Luse Lodge. It will leave you wanting to come back. We have a spacious home with 2 living rooms, back deck for grilling and lots of room for outdoor activities with a front porch facing Indiana Beach south entrance. Take a short walk over to the boardwalk, .2 miles from Lake Shafer Boat Rentals or drive a few minutes to the golf course. Many delicious restaurants nearby. Check out the Madam Carroll entertainment and cruise schedule. Visit Kopacetic Brewery and Whyte Horse Winery.

Loved the place! Very accommodating with providing us with plenty of towels and blankets. All 6 of us enjoyed the stay!

Exactly what we needed!

We were in the area for graduation at Purdue. The 40-minute drive was a great opportunity to explore the local countryside, especially since Google Maps took us on a different route each time. & the spacious floorplan was perfect for us to spread out / have our own space when we were at our "home base." The host was awesome! Very communicative & we enjoyed a few of their local recommendations - An Udder Sensation was a fast favorite for ice cream.

My husband and I grew up on Lake Shafer and have many memories with family and friends. We now live on Lake Shafer and call Monticello our home. We hope you will enjoy this lake and town as much as we have.

Why they chose this property

We frequented IB every summer as we were growing up and I worked at IB Roof Garden for many years. This home and neighborhood has special meaning to us and we want to share it with other families.

What makes this property unique

Our property is just steps away from Indiana Beach, boat rentals and Whiskey & Wine Saloon. Great location to many activities, shopping, golf, restaurants and stores.
