For your convenience, we offer a completely contactless check-in experience. You’ll receive a unique front door code 2 days prior to arrival, allowing for secure, easy entry at any time—day or night.
Guest Portal:
Your guest portal puts everything you need in one place, including property details, local things to do, and helpful house instructions. You can also access the front door lock and control the AC thermostats directly inside the portal, making your stay smooth and stress-free.
Management:
Our property is expertly managed by Rather Be Properties, and we’re committed to making your stay enjoyable and seamless. Our team is available daily from 9 AM to 9 PM to assist with any questions or requests. You can easily reach us through the Vrbo app, by phone, or email. For any urgent issues after hours, we also offer a 24-hour emergency line, ensuring support at any time during your stay.
Family-Friendly:
As parents of young children, we know traveling with little ones can be challenging. To make your stay easier, we provide a Pack ’n Play with crib sheets, along with children’s cups, plates, bowls, and utensils. You’ll also find books, games, and puzzles for the whole family to enjoy.
Pet-Friendly (One Dog Only):
We welcome one dog up to 60 lbs with a $150 pet fee per stay, which helps cover additional cleaning. Any waste beyond normal shedding (including urine or feces) will result in an additional $200 cleaning fee. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet, and dogs may not be left unattended in the home, as barking can disturb neighbors. Dogs are not allowed in the pool. Please let us know in advance if you’ll be traveling with a dog.
Hot Tub:
The hot tub is included in your nightly rate and can be easily activated using the backyard controls. Please allow up to 2 hours to reach 100–102°F, depending on outdoor temperature. If you’d like it warmed up before arrival, just message us—we’re happy to turn it on for you. Please note: the spa jets do not function.
Pool Heating:
Pool heating is available for an additional $125 per day (plus tax) due to high natural gas usage. If requested, this fee will be billed prior to arrival.
Scheduled Maintenance:
For your convenience, routine services may occur during your stay:
• Pool service: Tuesday & Friday mornings
• Landscaping: Monday mornings
• Walk-up trash service: Thursday mornings
These services are brief and should not disturb your stay.
Desert Living:
As is common in Palm Springs, desert winds may occasionally blow sand into the pool. Our pool technicians do their best to remove it, though a small amount may remain between cleanings.
Noise Notice:
The home is located near the airport, so you may see and hear aircraft. Most guests find this more entertaining than disruptive, and the airport does observe a curfew.
Important Palm Springs Guest Requirement:
Per City of Palm Springs regulations (including Ordinance No. 2075), all guests must sign a Rules & Regulations document prior to arrival, and we are required to collect a valid driver’s license from at least one guest for identification. While we understand this may feel intrusive, compliance is mandatory under city law. Failure to enforce these rules could result in the suspension of our rental permit. We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us remain compliant and continue hosting responsibly.

House Rules
• Primary renter must be 25+, sign a rental agreement, and provide valid photo ID. The registered guest must remain on-site for the entire stay. Subleasing is prohibited.
• Maximum occupancy is 8 overnight guests ages 13+ and 2 guests 12 and under (total of 10 guests), per city regulations. Exceeding this limit may result in fines or eviction.
• No parties or events. Loud music, rambunctious gatherings, or excessive cars disturbing neighbors are strictly prohibited.
• No sticking tape on walls or pictures, and no confetti is allowed.
• Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 10 AM. Excessive noise or disturbances may result in immediate eviction without refund.
• Smoking or vaping is not allowed indoors, including cigarettes, marijuana, or e-cigarettes. Any cleaning or damage costs will be charged to the primary guest.
• Pets must be on leashes in unenclosed areas. No dogs in the pool. Please clean up after your pets and be mindful of barking to avoid neighbor complaints. Max 1 dog
• Only park in designated areas: garage, driveway, or directly in front of the property. Max 4 vehicles allowed. Avoid blocking neighbors’ homes or driveways.
• Children under 18 must be supervised at all times when using the pool or spa.
• Firepit and BBQ must be operated by responsible adults only.
• No firearms, fireworks, or hazardous materials allowed on the property.
• Follow all local, county, and state laws and short-term rental regulations, including all rules on the City`s `Good Neighbor Brochure`, provided prior to checkin. Noncompliance may result in eviction by city without refund.
• Late checkout may result in a fee of up to $200 unless approved in advance.
• Fines may apply for violations of house rules or city ordinances, including Code Enforcement penalties.
