Come enjoy our wonderful creekside cabin which sits on 4.5 acres and is within 2 miles of Ricketts Glen State Park.

This small, newly updated, cabin is surrounded by Mountain View’s, open air, and creekside perfection! It’s a great space for 4 people to get away and enjoy nature.

The cabin has all modern amenities - wifi, air conditioning, DISH TV, fully stocked kitchen (utensils, place settings, glasses, cooking utensils, pots/pans), outdoor fire pit, large screened in porch, hammock, wifi (starting 2/20) and gas grill. There is 1 bedroom downstairs (Queen) and 1 enclosed loft bedroom upstairs (1 Queen and 1 Twin). The living area is open with vaulted living/dining area ceilings and a full bath and kitchen.

Enjoy the many nature loving locations nearby –
- Ricketts Glen (2 min), State Gamelands #13 (10 min), Worlds End (30 min) – for hiking
- Frances Slocum (20 min) – swim in the pool and go boating
- Moon Lake (20 min) – go fishing and biking. FALLS TRAIL SYSTEM UPDATE: As of 4/1/25, the Falls Trail system is now fully open for the summer season with no restrictions. Please make sure you wear proper footwear for the rugged terrain (hiking boots, not flip flops or sneakers), bring plenty of water, know and do not exceed your physical ability level, and plan your route so you end up back where you parked.

We loved our stay! The house is tucked away in the woods, making it a peaceful and relaxing retreat. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the décor had a nice mix of old and modern touches that gave it character with every amenity needed. Such a lovely spot for a quiet getaway.

Absolutely perfect! If you need a break and want to get off the grid for a bit, this is the place. Secluded, private and beautiful. Jess was great and checked to see if we needed anything. Such a relaxing time! We will definitely be back.

Peaceful getaway

This cabin is well maintained and perfectly located for enjoying Ricketts Glen. If you plan to bring your own food, don't worry about cooking in this kitchen -- it's well equipped and clean. This place is a gem.

Cutest Little Cabin!

This place was adorable inside and out! I loved the décor. Everything was cute and comfortable. My absolute favorite was the screened in porch. We sat outside on the comfortable furniture with pillows and blankets as the sun set. We could hear the sound of the creek, many birds, and the wind in the trees. It would have been perfection if the traffic on the road outside wasn't so loud. However, the property was totally hidden from the road or any other houses. Very private and in the middle of nature. We had a wonderful time at Ricketts Glen State Park which was very close. Owner was very friendly!

Great Weekend at the Cabin

The four of us very much enjoyed our stay at the Creekside Cabin. The cabin was very clean, had everything we needed and there was plenty of room for us to gather together along with space to be alone. Being close to Ricketts Glen SP was very nice, hiking the trails and the waterfalls was a treat. And the great restaurant suggestion Jessica gave us for our anniversary dinner at Jonathan’s was perfect. We look forward to a return stay. Wayne and Rita

Don’t stay here if you want to stay warm on a cold night!!

The owner would not turn on the main heat source for the house. The temps dropped into the 30’s at night. She instructed to use the baseboard heating in the bedroom & bathroom which took most of the night to heat those rooms. There was a small space heater which barely heated the living room, kitchen & dining area. It probably needed 3 more heaters in those rooms. Not a cozy stay by any means! We were disappointed after spending over $200 to be cold & uncomfortable. Otherwise the property was good.
