Dana Point is a great destination area with easy access to all Southern California attractions. Close to world-class resorts such as: St. Regis, Ritz Carlton, Laguna Cliffs and Montage Resort Hotels, this area is also home to some of the best beaches in the area. Just a mile to Salt Creek and Strand Beach where white sandy beaches are great for swimming or surfing. Dana Point Harbor offers every type of water sporting activity and nearby Laguna Beach is an art-lovers village with famous art festivals and galleries. The walking path starts across the street from this community and winds around the St. Regis and to Salt Creek Beach. Bikes are welcome too.

Wonderful stay

The house is true to the description and pictures in the listing. Highlights include a nice hot tub, excellent outdoor gas grill and location in quiet neighborhood. Great walking distance to Project SoCial beer and sandwich pub around the corner.

Enjoyed the location, nice community. Loved the hot tub and outside area with view of the ocean. Beds were comfortable. A little disappointed no tv's in any of the bedrooms.

This is a great house with excellent location, quiet neighborhood and proximity to beach. We were able to check off all our vacation goals. It was refreshing to see ocean from the backyard with cool breezes! Property manager Carla was very helpful. We highly recommend this property!

Thanksgiving Break

A wonderful and peaceful stay over the holiday weekend. We made this home our own family home for a week and we loved it. Took long walks everyday on the beaches and trails. Take out dinner or cook at home every night. Just a great stay. Thank you.

Beautiful beach getaway

We greatly enjoyed our week at Carla’s home with our family of 5, including a teenager and two kids. Everyone had a space for their themselves and comfortable beds. We watched movies and the Olympics together on the TVs in the downstairs and upstairs living rooms. The house felt luxurious and welcoming- a true vacation home. The house was very clean and had everything we needed readily available.

Our family absolutely loved our stay at this cozy home. The home was spacious for our family. The master bedroom was comfortable and quiet. Outside we enjoyed a lovely view of the ocean in the hot tub. Our sons enjoyed the media room. The neighborhood was peaceful and very safe. Our family went on many walks and runs. Communication with the property manager was excellent. We would definitely stay again!

Broken appliances, no hot water for 2 days, takes 3 minutes plus to get hot water to kitchen, cold on main floor due to fireplace doors not fitted and heating system outdated, hot upstairs, cold down. Had to use space heater entire time, cupboards messy no room for food, pictures fell off wall when no one was around, 2 months to get mineral deposits out of dishwasher, 2 screens on entire house, sliding door in kitchen needs replacing, broken vac. Bought my own. Ocean view is debatable!

The guest is correct in noting that the water heater went out the first day they arrived but it was replaced within 24 hours and she requested a new toaster so that was also replaced. After that the amount of complaining never stopped. At one point, I asked if she wanted to be moved or have anything she repaired and she said "no". Steer clear of this one.

Dana Point neighborhood

My family (husband, adult children, brother and sister-in-law) stayed in the house for the better part of a week. Other than having no basic cooking supplies (oil, salt, pepper), the kitchen was nice. The oven was in French, but that was fun!! The movie room was a big hit -- we LOVE movies and it was quite comfortable. A lovely beach (Salt Creek) is a 5 min drive (near the Ritz-Carlton -- which also has a great bar [180Blu] for drinks and watching sunsets.), though the description lead me to believe the beach was a close(r) walk than that. The house is located in a gated community that is safe; the master bedroom and hot tub in the yard face Nigel Rd which can be quite loud. Also, I was startled by the gardener one morning. I would have appreciated a heads up on that one!! Overall, though, the house was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped.

Nice Gated Dana Point Community

The property has nice quality linens and comfortable beds and is best suited for a family with children as secondary bedrooms are quite small with decent built in closet units. Nice TV room upstairs with comfortable seating for four. Hot tub, fire pit and grill are fully operational and in good condition. Good location but house sits right above a busy road so if you’re a light sleeper, beware. All in all a good location between Disneyland, Legoland, near parks and the beach and wharf in Dana Point.

Beautiful Dana Point

We stayed at this home for almost 3 months January through March. Sunny almost every day and warm enough to use the hot tub most days. Very nice neighborhood with very friendly residents who provided many suggestions for local restaurants and activities. We enjoyed many scenic local trails. Great location to visit attractions from San Diego to LA. Carla was great to work with and very quick to respond to any questions regarding the home. Would highly recommend this property

Great House in Dana Point

The house has a great layout and plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 teen-aged boys. It is located very close to the Lantern District and the Harbor in Dana Point and there a two beaches with public parking within a 5 minute drive of the property. There were two issues with the electricity during our stay, and the property manager was very helpful and sent an electrician to help. They weren't major issues, some fuses that tripped that affected a few outlets in the kitchen and one that affected the whole house. The owners of the property should have this addressed. It really was a pleasant stay.

AWESOME PROPERTY!!!!!

The house was amazing! We rented for almost 2 months. The location is prime. For the most part it was just the two of us but we did have family come in for a week or so and there was so much room and plenty to do for all. The house feels as small or as big as you need it to. The beds are comfortable (a must in our book) and the outdoor area is spectacular and private! We were there July and August of 2021 and never had to turn on the air conditioner. The breeze thru the house is so amazing!! The kids loved the media room. Thanks to Carla and her team, in addition to the owners, who were so helpful and responded immediately to any issue we needed help with. We highly recommend this property - you cannot go wrong. It is a truly welcoming, comforting house. You will love it!! Enjoy the big sky!!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was a perfect size for our family with teens. The access to the Monarch Beach walking trails and proximity to the beach made our stay fabulous. The backyard is an oasis and we especially loved the hot tub. Carla was attentive and easy to work with. We loved the area and felt like we were within an easy drive of everything.

Christmas in Laguna

This home was a lovely base for a wonderful week over Christmas and New Years. The house is exactly as advertised, and is close to all the restaurants and shops of both Laguna Beach and Dana Point. Book it and enjoy!
