The property is perfect and so cozy! It’s located near everything and the neighborhood stays pretty quiet and calm, which is great if you have kids. The bedrooms are a great size, and there is plenty of space in the home for a large family. The check in process was easy. We would definitely return!

This is the third time we’ve stayed here, and every time it’s a great experience. Roomy and comfortable inside, comfortable beds, nice yard with grill, and having access to the pool and hot tub is a great amenity. Checking in and out is super easy, and communication is fast. Highly recommend!

Great stay!

This condo was very clean, centrally located, well appointed and with great amenities. It was great to have a 3 car garage, full size washer/dryer, access to pool and tennis courts. Plenty of room for our family of 6!

Great place for families

This is the second year in a row we've rented this property, and it's the best place we've rented in Dana Point. Clean, spacious inside, with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, great outdoor space that is enclosed (piece of mind for those with small children), and a good location close to stores, downtown area, and the beach. Definitely recommend.

Great stay in family friendly home

We enjoyed our beach trip and would stay at this location again. The house was well equipped with towels, kid books and beach toys/equipment. The neighborhoods is friendly, quiet, and safe and we loved using the pool/hot tub. The toilet was running in one of the bathrooms requiring us to lift with lid each time to stop the water flow and the AC did not work (House reached 82 though set at 74). We were able to cool the house down at night using the many screen doors and windows, but the property management never returned our calls using regarding the issues.

A Wonderful place to stay!

This house was perfect for the four of us (my husband and I, and daughter+wife). Beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you would need. Spacious and clean, AND outdoor spaces to have an evening sit around the fire pit (in the front), or a dinner for four in the back. The pool and hot tub were amazing and only a short walk away from the house. I love how all the doors open with screens to create fresh air from all directions. Close to everything, and a healthy walk to the beach areas. I would highly recommend! Really great communication with the owner! Thanks, Jeff. C Schindler

Beach Vacation

Condo was spacious and clean, had everything we needed. Yard was beautiful and private for sitting outdoors and enjoying the ocean air. I would not consider this residence is walking distance to beach. It is quite a ways! My daughter and I walked 2 mornings to the closest beach where you can swim and it was a 2 mile walk down then another 2 mile walk uphill to return. That is not practical to carry a beach chair and ice chest and spend a few hours, however, it was a lovely morning walk and we were able hit Starbucks on PCH and Dana Point Harbor for morning coffee on our way back.

The Strands Beach is only 1 mile away and Salt Creek Beach is 1.5 miles from the house (I just clocked it on Google maps as I wanted to be sure). If you're not used to walking a car would be recommend. You can swim at both beaches (depending on the strength of the tide) and both are about 5 to 6 minute drive. Parking is free at at The Strands and it's metered at Salt Creek. However, it is uphill on the way back and you're right, Starbucks makes a great treat for your walk back. The perfect home in a fabulous location

This beautiful home suited the needs of our family perfectly. I can’t say enough good things about it! The decor is lovely, the furniture and beds are super comfortable, the bathrooms are beautifully upgraded, and the well-designed kitchen is fully stocked with everything a family could need. The outside is completely private, with lots of places to enjoy sun or shade. The community pool is just steps away and we used the hot tub at least once a day.There are lots of things to see and do in Dana Point and the surrounding area. We walked and hiked for hours, explored beaches and other nearby communities, went on whale and dolphin expeditions, rode ferries, went parasailing and biking, watched sunsets, and ate at some great restaurants. The attractions in Anaheim and LA are easy to get to and are less than an hour away.In short, our time here was one of our best family vacations ever and, if we could, we’d live in Dana Point in this very house! A heart-felt Thank You to the owners for sharing their home with us.

Top Stay

We descended upon Dana Light for my niece’s wedding in nearby San Clemente and found this gem of a property online. Extremely spacious, very well appointed and ideally located in a lovely gated community near to all local amenities. We cannot talk too highly of the property and would have no hesitation in recommending to others visiting the area. Would love to stay again should we revisit this beautiful part of Southern California.

Relaxing get-a-way

The home was inviting and comfy. Plenty of room to spread out and not feel on top of each other. Nice tranquil yard. Beautiful set up and centrally located to places we enjoyed (the beach, Laguna, shopping). Gated community, tennis courts, pool, hot tub. Grocery store within 2 miles of location. Traffic was minimal. Definitely will VRBO this location in the future!

We have stayed at this property 6 years and always love it. Terrific outdoor amenities with the BBQ, fitepit and table with umbrella that seats 6. Indoor has table seating for 8 and additional table hightop for 4. Entertainment rooms are beautiful with the loft upstairs. Our teenage boys live this area. I highly recommend!
