We had a great week in Chatham! The house was centrally located and the neighborhood beach a nice walk from the house.
Great week in Chatham
The house was very clean and as nice as pictured. The tennis court also had pickleball which was a bonus for us. Beach was a little rocky but was fine for our purposes. The owner also gave us directions to a pond to swim in which was about a 10 minute drive. A categorized list of restaurants was also provided which was very helpful.
For the last several years, we have really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful home in amazing neighborhood and quick walk to the beach and short drive to downtown Chatham and Harwichport.
Great summer getaway!
Had a wonderful family vacation in this home. The house was immaculate and the location was central to everything!
Perfect for family getaway
I am almost reticent to give this review because I don't want the word to get out about this house! Everything was absolutely fantastic and Robert and Collette were very accommodating, especially given we arrived early with a cranky 6 mos old and were able to get in the house asap. Everything was very clean and up to date, great layout for a family and the kitchen and grill were well stocked so we were able to make some great meals at home. Location is perfect in a quiet neighborhood in south chatham very close to forrest beach and convenient to both Chatham and Harwich. Added bonus house accommodated our dog, but without sacrificing anything in terms of cleanliness, hair, etc. And I can't forget to mention the outside shower - great pressure!! We will definitely be coming back.
A Cape Cod Treat
We had a wonderful week! This home was clean and well appointed. It was roomy and comfortable . Nearby Forest beach was quiet and an easy walk!! The back patio was a great place to share meals and play games as a family!! We would love to stay here again!!!
Chatham is located at the elbow of Cape Cod. It has access to Nantucket Sound beaches that feature warm and calm waters as well as to National Seashore beaches with waves and surfing. It has a charming Main Street full of great restaurants and shops. Visitors can go on a seal/whale watching tours, attend a Cape Cod league baseball game, go to the theater or attend an Acapella performance. You can play tennis or golf, bike on the rail trail, kayak or paddleboard. You can hop on a nearby ferry and visit Nantucket or go to the pier and charter a deep sea fishing trip. There are also beautiful waterfront resorts to visit for oceanfront cocktails and dinner or a visit to the spa.
