Gracious hosts. Prompt response to any questions. Only brewed coffee and nuked breakfast biscuits.Clean, comfortable.Has sufficent parking for three truck/boats. Has an outside outlet for charging marine batteries. Very close to boat launch.Would stay again.
My host was very welcoming! I walked in and felt right at home. The place was inviting and very cozy. I enjoyed sitting out in the deck enjoying my coffee. The perfect place to relax.
This little cabin was adorable and super close to the lake. It’s true that it’s located in a trailer park, but it’s at the end of the road and once you’re inside you forget all about that because the windows face the woods and you don’t even see the trailers. The place was well equipped, very clean, cozy, quiet and affordable. I would stay here again.
The cabin was very nice and clean. The area is peaceful and quiet. It is just a short distance to downtown Winchester and to Lynchburg. The owners were great to work with!
I came to bring my girlfriend & family. Since she said she has never been to a cabin, & she wanted to come for her birthday. It was very nice we really enjoyed our visit. Its a nice place to relax & just getaway. She wanted to take the place with us lol, thanks.

We are so glad you guys enjoyed your stay! Come back anytime.
My daughter and I stayed 2 nights while having a girl's weekend. We enjoyed the coziness of the cabin. It was clean and tidy inside. We did not realize it was in the back of a campground that looked like everyone else lived there permanently. It was nice and quiet which we liked.
House was very nice. Only thing we didn’t care about was the fact it was in a rv park that wasn’t taken very good care of. The house property was taken care of though. Also there was traffic coming in and out of rv park all day and night seemed like to the neighbors trailer. Love that it was close to the lake.
Super clean property near the lake. Suggest a revision of the door access instructions - took us a few minutes to figure out how to unlock the door. Also, the unit number was not easy to see after dark. Since one of us is sensitive to scents, we removed some of the air wick stations while we were there. Other than those things, it was a great visit with lots of nice amenities from our hosts.
We are the owners of Sunday Morning Rentals. We have been renting out our vacation cabin for the last 10 years and have a 4.8 star rating on another popular booking site- but we are just now including this platform as a booking tool! :) We and our 3 daughters enjoy spending time together outdoors by exploring area hiking trails, and we thoroughly enjoy our time down at the lake. Winchester has become one of our favorite places to unwind and relax, and we hope you will enjoy the local southern charm as much as we do!
Why they chose this property
We enjoy being so close to the lake, which also makes lake activities easily accessible for our guests to enjoy! We are also able to have that "secluded feel" without being too far from other activities and town!
What makes this property unique
The cabin is only a 5 minute (0.3 mile), short walk or 1 minute drive to Tim's Ford Lake, Devil's Step Boat Launch. With hiking trails, nature centers, gardens, museums, shopping and lake fun all within a 10 minute drive from the cabin, you are sure to enjoy your getaway.
