We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to any friends/family who are visiting! The sauna was great and all of the little extra touches that the hosts provided made the stay extra special.
Excellent hosts who provided extras for us unasked. Loved the sauna and fire pit.

The cabin was great but the outside area could use some work to make it more appealing and comforta.
Our 49th anniversary, we had a lovely time and the cabin was lovely. Everything we needed was there and nicely done.

Jill thank you for your feedback! ! We are in the middle of building a sauna and the gravel was just spread to make the base for the sauna to sit on. I apologize that the outside of the cabin wasn’t as appealing as you expected but we are creating something really special. I hope you were able to enjoy the fire pit, bbq gril. We would welcome you back any time.
Sparkling clean with special touches. Loved our stay and host communication was excellent. Super cozy and comfortable. We own property in the area and stayed there so we could work on our cabin. Will definitely stay again.

Pam and Shelly, thank you for being such wonderful guests!
Great place to take a break after the rush of the holidays. Thinking it will become a tradition. Very relaxing with the stove and the ability to bring the dog.

Thank you Bob! You were lovely guests and left the cabin so clean! You are welcome to stay again any time!
This was such a cute and cozy cabin and thankful we were able to bring our dog. It had the usual necessities and some others that were unexpected (bath salts and shower bombs) that were nice to be able to have in the cabin. It was close enough to go explore downtown Talkeetna and take a hike in Hatcher Pass. We also enjoyed walking to the lake and having a fire. We enjoyed our stay, it was a nice getaway!

Thanks Kelly! I am glad you enjoyed your stay. We enjoyed hosting you and would welcome you back any time!
Our stay at the Steller’s Jay cabin was perfect as a home base for the northern leg of our Alaska adventure. It is located a bit off the beaten path between Willow and Talkeetna near a beautiful, peaceful lake. Even though it felt secluded, it wasn’t too bad of a drive to get to Talkeetna- a very quaint town with a tin of personality. We stayed for 5 nights and made several day trips including Denali National Park, a jet boat ride, dining and shopping in Talkeetna, a spectacular driver through Hatcher Pass and an even more spectacular helicopter ride to Knik Glacier. The cabin is very cozy with lovely art and lots of personal touches including the jacuzzi tub and sauna. The loft has pretty low ceilings that required me to climb on my knees over my husband and to go down a squeaky ladder in the morning- it kind of added to the adventure though. The long summer days in Alaska gave us plenty of time to enjoy campfires, yard games and strolls to the lake in the evenings, despite our busy adventure days. We would certainly recommend a stay at Deb’s lovely cabin.
