We would love to host you in our updated home in the original Highlands for Derby 2024! 3-day minimum with additional days available. Inquire before booking as we will require ID verification and e-signed rental contract for this special weekend. Provisioning available by arrangement no later than 4/29.

Great stay

Great stay. Very clean. Loved the decor and overall feel. Quiet street. Just what we were looking for as a home base for our bourbon trail trek. Might rethink the first floor bathroom door - whole thing needs frosted and add a lock. Would/ will stay again.

Peaceful, charming retreat!

The historic charm of this property did not disappoint! We arrived tired and ready to relax, and everything we needed was right there. The beds were super comfortable…cozy blankets and fans made it feel like home. The snacks and smart tv made our evenings relaxing. Walking ability to all the best local spots made it the most memorable trip! We loved Hammerheads, Fleur de Flea Vintage Market, Logan Street Market, and Grale Haus were our faves!

Property manager responsive

Although there were a couple minor issues to resolve, the property manager was responsive. One issue was the WiFi network password which he gave me via text was incorrect. The last evening of stay, I saw the correct password on the front cover of the manual. The second issue had to do with very dirty ceiling fans and window sills in the upstairs bedrooms which we had to clean upon arrival. Other than that, the stay was enjoyable. We were a bit surprised to walk into a bedroom after entering through the front door! Suggest to partition it off with a screen of sort for privacy.

Perfect neighborhood retreat

Very clean 3 bed 2 bath house in an established, quiet neighborhood. In Louisville for extended business, we love the house and location. House has everything needed for a longer stay. Plenty of room downstairs to hang out, cook a nice meal (fully equipped kitchen) and serve family and friends in the elegant dining room. The deck on back is a great place to chill, with comfy outdoor furniture and birds singing nearby. Minutes away from all of Louisville’s attractions, shopping and dining. A must to check out is the neighborhood bar and grill (Hammerheads) literally across the street. I recommend the lamb ribs-absolutely the best I’ve ever had. Business associate says the duck tacos are better but you should judge on your own. Easy access to the interstate and bridges to get you where you need to be. The hosts are very attentive making sure our stay was lacking nothing. Check in and check out is easy peasy too. Street parking in a quiet neighborhood so don’t let that trouble you. It’s not an issue. I will stay here again next time I’m in town, I suggest you should too.
