This Bayeux apartment was clean, bright and very convenient to the restaurants and sites of central Bayeux. The host was welcoming and warm. We were able to park right down the street and when the construction of the tapestry museum is completed and the tapestry returns this will be a perfect place to stay in central Bayeux.

This was an ideal property for our three day stay in Bayeux. A large, comfortable, beautifully appointed apartment to spread out in when we came back from our excursions. Alexandre and his sister Heloise were very helpful and easy to communicate with. This property is very walkable to shops, restaurants and the grocery store. The WW2 tour bus pick-up is only two blocks away. We had an amazing time in Bayeux - wonderful meals, site-seeing, shopping and tours. The people of Bayeux are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this property!!!!

This is a great property, bright and airy as promised, in the heart of Bayeux within easy walking distance of key attractions in town including the Normandy Invasion Museum (excellent), and some really fine restaurants. Our hostess Heloise (sister of the owner) was extremely kind and helpful throughout, happy to help with dinner recommendations and reservations. Parking is somewhat challenging. There is no parking onsite, but the local system for designating free and timed parking spaces is manageable. We easily found available spaces very nearby. Overall a great find, we highly recommend (we were a couple on vacation).

Wonderful location and all you need if you want an immersive experience. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook instead of eating out at the great surrounding restaurants. Carrafours city express is just around the corner as well as great local eateries. Quiet and comfortable.

The apartment is comfortable, well equipped and in an excellent location for exploring the town. Parking can be challenging, though the SNCF station provides an alternative if really necessary.We were disappointed, however, not to have been advised of the substantial construction site directly opposite the apartment. During our stay, noise persisted from early morning until early evening, workers had an unobstructed view into the living room, and the site’s lighting shone directly inside. With no curtains and shutters that were not operational, privacy was impossible. This had a considerable impact on our overall experience. We feel future guests should be informed of this ongoing construction, which appears likely to continue into 2027.

Regarding the construction work opposite the building, it is for the development of the future Bayeux Tapestry Museum. As a major project, activity evolves over time and across different phases: some periods are very quiet and completely hassle-free, while others can be a bit noisier at times. That’s also the advantage of being ideally located right in front of the upcoming museum! We have taken note of your comment regarding the shutters. Replacing them requires a vote by the homeowners' association, and since the property is located in a protected heritage zone, the process is slightly more complex and takes time. We look forward to welcoming you back again.

Excellent location and facilities

We were there for 4 nights, and had a very comfortable stay. Walking distance to everything we wanted to cover and Bayeux is an excellent starting point for Mont St Michel tours. Parking was onsite, and additional bonus.

Bayeux Visit

The apartment was very nice. We spent a couple of days to see the Bayeux Tapestry and the location was perfect. Lovely village and easy to get around. Heloise was very gracious and answered all our questions.

Perfect location! The flat was beautiful and the building beyond picturesque. The flat is a two minute walk to the center of town which was incredible. The town is just like out of a movie with everything you could need or want. Loved it!

This apartment is in the perfect location, close to stores, restaurants and WWII sites. The apartment was clean and comfortable with WIFI and an Amazon account. Amazing Well Placed Location

What a wonderful place to stay. Super clean, modern, with all the things you need to have a great time. The set up was easy, the grounds were fantastic, lots of suggestions for things to do and places to eat (which were great suggestions) and walking distance to most of the things you would do in Bayeaux. Next time I come, that is where I am going to try and stay!

Great place. Great location. Kitchen well equipped and nice bathroom. Host was very friendly and in good communication.Things to be aware of when you stay here. Need to pick up keys at another location. Artwork in one bedroom and living room is a little bit adult if you have younger children. There are no closets or anyplace to store anything in one bedroom and a small chest of drawers in the other bedroom. No iron, no laundry.

Stay in Bayeaux, France

We had a wonderful experience staying at this apartment while visiting the Normandy area. The host Heloise met us at the train station and brought us to the apartment to show us all the features of the home. This apartment is walkable to downtown shops & restaurants and walking distance to the train station. It was clean and nicely decorated. We were happy with our stay and would recommend it highly.

FANTASTIC stay in Bayeux

If I could give this property a 20/10 I would! Héloïse was the perfect host, and the unit was perfect. It was immaculate, and very conveniently located within walking distance to everything we needed in Bayeux. Perfect location!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Heloise, our host, picked us up at the train station and provided a complete overview of the apartment. She and her daughter were delightful! The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect - you can easily walk anywhere in the old city of Bayeux and for those with a car, there is parking directly across the street from the apartment (parking pass included).
