Quaint, clean, quiet, PERFECT for 2 people. We LOVED staying at Acorn Manor. Centrally located for everything we needed and beautifully done. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us.
My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful girls weekend. It was the perfect location close to family and friends. We felt safe and the other guests were quiet and respectful at night.
I enjoyed my stay at Acorn Manor. Everything was close by, it was the best location near downtown. Very clean and comfortable in this adorable historical home.
Traveling alone I felt safe and welcome with private off street parking The natural light from all the windows with Raleigh’s beautiful trees, made the views and the location perfect.
This was the perfect place to stay for a quick trip to the Raleigh area. Great internet connection for a work day and plenty of room to relax. Beautiful original windows provide excellent light. Great find!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Raleigh rental! Everything was exactly as described—immaculately clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant, with convenient designated parking right out back. We especially appreciated the little bit of history shared about the home—it’s a 100-year-old property, and those details added such a lovely, personal touch. You can really tell the hosts care about the space. Would absolutely stay here again!
This is our second time staying here. Each time has been exceptional. We do have two suggestions. It would be helpful to have another light in the bedroom and something to make the tub less slick when showering.
My husband and I had a great stay at Acorn Manor! The location was great and the property fit our needs perfectly! Had great communication with the property owner. Even had an issue with our debit card when making our payment that locked my debit card for 24 hours and they worked with me to allow time for the hold to clear without rejecting our reservation and reposting for a new renter. Excellent customer service!
Great location. You can see all the wonderful sights in Raleigh - everything's within a few minutes drive and there's very little traffic. The home itself is lovely from the outside but unfortunately historic means old (as in, needing renovation). The apt was really loud! You hear all the traffic on the roads 24/7 and even the guests staying above you if you're staying in a lower level apt. The bathroom could use updating- tub is chipping, walls are crumbling. The curtains barely covered the windows so lack of privacy was an issue (may I suggest blinds?). Kitchen was minimally furnished (only one wine glass!). The extension cord provided wasn't long enough to plug anything into it and make use of it. The luggage stand was broken. One of the bedside lamps didn't work. It really could be improved dramatically.
Very happy with the condo. It is beautiful and in a good location. Parking pass was missing when I arrived. Had to park in a garage up the street. It wouldn’t have been such an issue except for a day of inclement weather. Was a bit of an inconvenience. I received the parking pass the day before I left. Other than parking I enjoyed the stay

Hi Beth, I’m not sure what you mean by parking pass. There is no parking pass required for this property. There’s free parking for each unit at the back of the property and it doesn’t need a pass. There’s also additional street parking available that also does not need a parking pass.
When we arrived at the rental after a long day of driving, it hadn’t been cleaned. We just wanted to rest and it was a little disappointing. However when we contacted the host, we received an immediate response and the cleaner arrived a short time later. We went out for a walk and everything was taken care of by the time we returned. The host seemed genuinely concerned, communicated extremely well, and even comped us a meal for our troubles. We found some good food nearby, and enjoyed our stay in Raleigh, and because everything was handled so well I would definitely recommend this rental.
Great location in a very nice neighborhood. Close proximity to downtown, we were able to walk everywhere. Apartment was clean and stocked with everything needed!
