My family and close friends really enjoyed the secluded area and spectacular views from this cabin. We spent most of our time on the dock swimming, fishing and paddle boarding. We got lucky one day and got to watch a Bald Eagle fish and perch in the trees above us. Definitely would recommend this place!
House and property were great. Loved the dock and beach area. Pretty private compared to other locations. Close enough to Polson that can run into town for groceries whenever. The view with the windows was amazing and one of the best ive had at Flathead in a house.
Has a great trip where we fished a lot but didn't catch anything. Property definitely has some personality. It has been needing an upgrade for a while. It was still comfortable enough and well stocked so we still loved the trip.Couple things to note:1. The dock is old and cleats are worn and the boat rental places did not feel comfortable allowing us to keep the boats there. So we had paid for the dock but didn't use it for anything except swimming off of it. 2. No lights in the front is a dangerous walk so have flashlights ready if you're there after dark. 3. Communication prior was good, but lax during the trip. We checked our spam folders and still never got the entry info. The phone number on the listing goes to the older property manager. Otherwise, the living room was great and we still had a lot of fun. Though probably wouldn't stay there again.
This was such a beautiful location! We loved sitting on the dock and daring each other to jump in the cold lake! The house has a lot of Montana character and history. We saw several bald eagles and hummingbirds. And we may have even have spotted Nessie! Just a heads up to future guests - if you’re wanting to use kayaks, inner tubes, etc. they don’t have those at the house so you should bring your own. Also there isn’t a washer/dryer, which we didn’t realize at first as it was listed as having “laundry” on the VRBO app when we made the reservation. I think they’ve fixed that on the listing now.
We have been coming to Flathead lake in the summer for several years. This place was a perfect combination of private/woodsy but conveniently close to town. The view and access to the lake is unbeatable. Would stay here again!
This is always the highlight of the summer in the beautiful setting on Flathead Lake.

Curt communication with property manager made us hesitant to raise questions.
Remote for dvr not working.
Beautiful view and well stocked kitchen.
Incline a little steep for some going down to lake.
We were a group of four friends in our 60's who have traveled together several times and looked forward to a relaxing week on Flathead Lake. This house delivered a wonderful stay due to its amazing location. This house is not perfect and a few flaws are important for renters to know about but it was overall a great place for our trip.
Home was cozy and casual. It was well stocked with towel baskets in each room, lots of dock chairs, and indoor & outdoor games. New deck was beautiful. We enjoyed a couple visits from a local black bear who liked to go for evening swims in the lake.
This place was amazing. Was just perfect for our family and the views are to die for. The dock was perfect for our 23' boat and we were able to tuck it on the inside to avoid choppy Flathead. Coffee and sunrise on the deck were perfect!
Great way to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary!!!
We ranged in age from 3 to 77. We probably should have booked earlier in the month for Glacier accessible but the Fall like weather was pleasant and changing so we were able to use the best of the inside and outside of the cabin. The view was indeed captivating and I would book again just for that. We made use of the terrific kitchen and barbecue so cooking was a family affair.
We saw all kinds of animal life but no bears!! There were otters, deer, various birds, geese, squirrels, bats and some critter that ran under the dock never to appear again.
Overall, a fabulous week away from everything but family. As 70 year old with MS I found nothing to keep me from enjoying the cabin at all! The steps to the front door are wide and on a gentle-down slope as are the ones to the lake. Inside, railings accompany the stairs and any variation in floor level by the kitchen seemed inconsequential.
We loved the whole experience and wish to thank you for sharing your delightful home. We will definitely sing your praises and hope to join you again.
It is a bit of a challenge to get there but it is worth it. We arrived in Kalispell and then drove south along the gorgeous Flathead Lake. We turned on a small road looking for our house - all the houses are marked clearly but it is a narrow road and the first time we were a bit nervous. After that we delighted in the fact that we often saw deer along the small road.
There was ample parking. Once you walk in the house you understand the full charm of this house - an entire wall of windows looking at the lake. Chairs are stationed so you can simply sit and enjoy the view. So we did! After taking it in for a few minutes we scattered and discovered the rest of the house was just what we needed. We were two couples traveling together so one couple took the downstairs and another the upstairs. Each had privacy and our own bathroom. This is an older home but it is clean and well kept, with old cabin charm.
We assessed the kitchen before heading in to shop. We found many staples already there, all the paper products, soaps, shampoo, dishes, pans etc we needed which made shopping straightforward. Now we could focus on things like the right cookies and chips!
We spent time on the dock every day - fishing was a bust but our time on lake was wonderful. AND THE SUNSETS! There were ample canvas chairs so we could comfortably sit through those sunsets waiting for the millions of starts to appear.
The deck offered a great place to breakfast in the morning.
Polson was an easy trip for groceries and huckleberry shakes. We also went to Glacier National Park two days - which is much longer drive but beautiful. The park was quite crowded and we should have left much earlier than we did but still enjoyed the park. We had great luck at the National Bison Range about an hour south in Moise.
If your family is looking for a comfortable place to settle in and enjoy this is a great home. This is not the place for you if you are looking for new and shiny. Also very limited cell service -which meant we all unplugged and truly vacationed - so great for us.

Beautiful Flathead
This lovely beachfront home was perfect for our first stay at Flathead. Full kitchen resulted in amazing meals enjoyed over wine against the backdrop of the Lake. Comfortable beds and lazy hours immersed in the beauty of the area left us feeling renewed. It was great!

Beautiful, woodsy property. Great view.
We had a great time. The view is fantastic. The lake is quiet. The area nearby is fun to explore. We enjoyed ourselves and had a restful time. We would stay here again without hesitation.
