The 1844 built Greek Revival home located in heart of downtown Wilmington, just two blocks to the riverfront walk, within one block of great restaurants and wedding venues including St Thomas Preservation Hall and several others is a wonderful place to host your guests for a dinner, a baby shower, bridal shower, Father-of-the-Groom, Mother-of-the Bride, graduation dinner, or corporate meeting.

The main floor boasts entertainment areas including a stately front porch fronting South 2nd Street, living room, gracious foyer, a large eat-in kitchen, a scullery kitchen with two dishwashers, refrigerator, gas range Fulgor Milano stovetop, microwaves, freezer, cappuccino machine, dining room with seating for 10, den with stereo and piano, back porch with breakfast seating, side yard with hedges and fountain, backyard for lawn games and gravel gated parking for two vehicles.

The second story has three large bedrooms (1 KING, 2 QUEENS) and two full bathrooms, a laundry room, tasteful champagne lounge, a tea room conversations overlooking the front with battleship view and back upstairs porch with a bench swing. The two Queen bedrooms have desks and share one hallway bathroom. The King bedroom has its own bathroom en- suite as well as a soaking tub in the lounge area. Washer and dryer laundry room is also attached.

This estate home is set up to enjoy impressing your guests with the eclectic, modern, yet classic, environment. This is Adulting at its Best!

This is the ideal home to stay while in town for an important event and you want to step it up from just having a hotel room or hotel suite.

We can also include party planning, bartending, anything you will need. We have made this house available for this purpose because we treasure these types of gatherings and understand the importance of hosting them in a beautiful location.

The house is located at S. 2nd and Orange Streets, and is very amenable to walking to almost any location in downtown Wilmington. The horse carriage tour and walking tours pass by in front of the house daily.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
1. Return kitchen items and dishes to places everything was before use.
2. No moving of furniture, including porch furniture, so nothing should need moving back. No moving is allowed due to potential of floor damage. Thank you!
Relock front gate. Then, return Remote control ( gray) for driveway gate, pedestrian gate key (single key) and fountain remote ( green) to glass dish inside backdoor where it was upon arrival. Impt!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
1. No more than 5 persons on the upstairs balcony at one time. 2. Park on gravel area in back. The paved driveway mustn't be parked in, or blocked.

Amazing home!

We rented this amazing home for the weekend of my daughter’s wedding. She and her bridesmaids “got ready” at the house and then had pictures taken there and they are absolutely stunning! The home is an amazing backdrop for special events and celebrations! Communication with the owner and property manager were excellent! I can’t say enough- don’t hesitate, it is worth every penny!

We got married here - it was perfect

My husband and I hosted a tiny wedding here at this amazing house. It was in the backyard of the property in front of the trees, with just ten guests. We didn’t have to worry because Jeff answered all of our questions and was such a gracious host to us. Would recommend this property to anyone getting married, anyone looking for a romantic weekend getaway, or just looking to stay in a gorgeous house with character.
