Be aware, I reached out multiple times to confirm our stay w the host. After multiple attempts I finally located the host’s private number and she seemed surprised to hear from me. I confirmed we’d be traveling the next day and arriving very late. I requested where we should park and how we would enter. She informed where to park and how to enter. We arrived around 1:30am, as expected to find no key, unsure of the exact location of the apartment (it’s in the back of the main house btw). I ended up contacting the host since we couldn’t get in. She insisted we were not scheduled until the following date then realized we were supposed to be there when we arrived after all. She insisted it was a vrbo mistake and told me to call vrbo. I did, since we had no other option and they were very helpful and sympathetic. We ended up having to get a hotel
For our stay, unable to cook our Thanksgiving meal we’d planned and almost were not able to get a last minute hotel at 3:30am! Terrible host!! I’m assuming she’d booked her property on multiple sites because she sent us someone else’s info regarding a booking for the following day for 1 night! Can u say HIPPA???

Once again I really apologize for the inconvenience in the mixup I had nothing to do with the overbooking my place is on 2 sites and my calendar reflects both of them somehow someway it became a overbook when I spoke to Amy I had no reason to look back at the calendar she said she said she was coming in a couple of days my house keeper normally just leans and our next guest arrives when I did realize the over booking I called Vrbo panicking very frustrated that you wasn’t able to stay in our place asking them to accommodate you I been hosting over 2 years and have never experienced such a thing so does that make me a bad host? Again, I apologize For the over booking I have no control over the calendar
