The space
Ready for fresh air and adventure? This beautiful 2-bedroom, 1-bath Tahoe rental is the perfect home base for excursions by bike, ski or foot any time of year! This spacious home has a front deck for your morning coffee, a large backyard deck for your evening brbq, and is nestled on a large, wooded property and right by a huge network of Tahoe's best trails. Walk outside the door and within minutes you can enjoy your morning strolls with beautiful views of Lake Tahoe.

Here, you’re minutes from downtown Tahoe City and close to all the famous ski resorts: Squaw Valley (home of the 1960 Olympics), Alpine Meadows, Northstar Ski Resort and Incline Village.

INSIDE THE HOUSE

Open-air living room has new carpets, Smart TV with all the cable you could imagine, and seating for 5 on a cozy couch as well as 3 bar stools. Curl up in front of the gas stove fireplace! The upstairs is something out of a Pendleton marketing campaign; wood beamed ceilings and paneled wood walls make the perfect atmosphere to curl up and read a book or get some restful sleep before hitting the outdoors. First room has a large comfortable queen bed with morning light shining perfectly from window that frames outside trees. Second bedroom has both a queen and single bed - perfect for deep sleep and relaxation while recovering from a big day outside.

Quaint kitchen overlooks the living room and features lots of counter space, any appliance you could possibly need, and plenty of cooking space to cook your favorite breakfast. Wood table dining area is the perfect spot to share a meal with family and friends. Third room downstairs has washer and dryer and can serve as your multi-purpose room. Across the hall - is the bathroom and shower.

Fantastic deck takes you straight out into the pines! Furnished with patio chairs, propane BBQ, and an attractive table and chair set, this is the place to relax and take in that fresh Tahoe air.

Outdoor wood-burning fires and charcoal grills are prohibited per local ordinances.

THE LOCATION

When it comes to location, this house has it all! You're only minutes from Tahoe City, and you'll find access to miles of hiking, biking, and cross-country ski trails right across the street.

Waterman's Landing is a fantastic place to bring your kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, and Patton Beach is another beautiful gem 1.7 miles from home. Snow bunnies will find their piece of heaven here—all the best ski resorts are just a quick 25-minute drive from the front door!

Refuel from your excursions with sandwiches and craft beer at Tahoe Mountain Brewing Company 10 minutes from home, and satisfy your sweet tooth with ice cream and frozen yogurt at Log Cabin Cafe less than 5 miles away. Don't miss brunch at the Old Post Office less than 2 miles from home—the crab cake benedict is the talk of the town—and find the neighborhood watering hole at Gar Woods Grill & Pier just 1.5 miles away.
