Awesome property with thoughtful touches for guests. We lucked out with weather and enjoyed the rooftop deck with great views. The place had everything our family needed for our weekend in DC. Would love to come back!
We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and true to the photos. The gas tank for the fire pit ran out after the first night we used it; i was disappointed to not be able to enjoy it for the other evenings.

Thank you for choosing to stay at my home during your visit to DC.
I’m sorry you were disappointed the fire pit tank ran out of fuel. I’m equally disappointed you didn’t let me know it was empty until after you checked out, otherwise I would have been happy to replace it for you to enjoy the fire pit the rest of the week you stayed. Nevertheless, a full tank was delivered.
Great location, finicky door locks and awful ergonomics. Extremely tight spaces challenging to open the doors when carrying luggage. Parking space is available although quite challenging to enter and exit due to its location and tightnesses. Good communication with the host is a definite plus
We enjoyed our stay! Host was communicative and helpful with any questions. Drove into DC to see the museums and a couple blocks away from some great restaurants.
Great communication with host and less than 15 minutes to museums and attractions. Quiet and very cute neighborhood. Off street parking was VERY tight to get into/out of with our minivan. Would be fine for a compact car. We didn't have problems finding a parking space on the street. We would definitely stay here again. The only really bad part was it is hard to get in and out of the property with dogs due to the location of the doors and stairs to the unit as unit is on the second floor. The door to the vestibule goes right to the door to the unit and that door goes directly to the stairs leaving no room to maneuver with a dog. We had a great time and could have stayed for another week with all we wanted to do. We will be back!!!
House was perfect for our family of 5, in town for the National History competition. Nice neighborhood, easy to get around, house was clean. Kids loved the rooftop patio!
Overall wonderful experience. House was great, we did have a few issues, however the host handled all issues quickly and satisfactory! Host was very responsive, very quick with responses and resolutions. Highly recommend staying here, and if we ever return for another visit, we will definitely try to book here.

Thank you, John! I appreciate your patience and flexibility and bringing issues to my attention quickly. I’m glad I was able to resolve quickly and to your satisfaction. Glad you enjoyed your stay!
Our stay was great! The house was really nice, clean with everything we needed provided for us. The rooftop was an excellent place to wind down after a long day! Convenient location in a good neighborhood! The host was amazing and super accommodating, next time in D.C. will be looking for this property again!
Great place! Clean, close to tons of restaurants and grocery stores. Short Lyft to the museums. Very spacious for a family of 4 and sun drenched is an understatement! This is not your typical ground level rental. The rooftop patio is an added bonus
We stayed here with our teenage boys for a week in DC. The house was exactly as described and pictured, and was in a great location for all the touristy things people do in DC. Will was great and was quick to respond to questions.
I highly recommend and be sure to take advantage of the roof top deck. We started our mornings with coffee and ended the evenings with some wine up there.
We enjoyed our stay as a family of four with young adult children. Property is as described, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Worked well for us to walk 30 minutes through quaint neighborhoods to Eastern Market metro. Quick ride from there to all the sites on the mall. There’s also a Trader Joe’s at Eastern Market if you need a few groceries. Host communicates well for anything you need.
Positives; attractive property; William was very timely in his communications and check-in was smooth; parking space was a big plus; rooftop was lovely at night.
Negatives: Pet hair was on the floor and in the sheets of one of the beds; extra blanket had a large ink stain; some silverware was not clean; we never got the Roku to work, even after receiving extra instruction; one of the beds was very uncomfortable; a bathroom faucet was functional but very loosely attached.
The property was as described, it was perfect for two couples looking to spend a week in Washington and tour all the sights. It was well located, close to H-St and the free tram to Union Station and then we walked, used the metro and the circa bus system. Will gave us very useful information on how to access the transportation. Loved being able to park our car and leave it in the spot provided. The property itself was very nice, beds were very comfortable, modern decor. Kitchen was very nice but could be equipt with a few more items like a vegetable steamer, strainer and larger coffee pot. As well with such a nice kitchen, the kitchen utensils could be upgraded. Over all a fabulous place to stay. We loved Washington!!
While the description of the property was accurate and its cleanliness met our expectations, there were some things that troubled us and caused us to move out three days before the end of our stay.First, we did not feel safe walking around the neighborhood. There appeared to be a large homeless encampment only three blocks away, and several times there were people on our block that made my wife and granddaughters uncomfortable.Second: We were aware that the bedrooms were on the second floor, but we were not aware that the first floor was actually 22 steps up from the street. We are 75 years old and were challenged by all of those additional steps every day.Third: (a minor point) Although there was a nice wine fridge in the unit, there was only one wine glass. When we mentioned that to the owner, there was no comment.
Overall this location is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Nice fluffy towels, comfy beds and pillows. The location is in a neighborhood that really doesn't have a close option for food shopping. There is a Chick-Fil-A and a CVS drug store in walking distance. We are well traveled people, and from a comfort level, I personally don't recommend the trolley system that is close by, we took it to Whole Foods, and decided it wasn't for us. I would recommend getting a Lyft for transportation. Lyft pick up is usually very quick. I think the most time we waited for less than 10 minutes. There are just a few recommendations I would make. The kitchen has a great work space, but really needs some help in the utensil and supply department. Napkins, baggies, tinfoil, etc. The curtain situation in the upstairs bathroom needs to be addressed. Not enough curtain to cover the window, we put towels over it to make up the difference. The blinds either got stuck or seemed like they were broken in the main area by the TV. The small coffee pot nearly overflowed and would not drip into the pot. There was only one wash cloth and no actual dish cloth/rag to wipe the counters down with. Aside from those few comments. It's a nice place to stay for a couple of days away.
I'm a midwestern/southern hybrid who loves DIY projects, travel, and leading an active and healthy lifestyle. I love to cook and entertain, always with an eclectic playlist. I'm low maintenance, clean and respectful.
I work in the travel industry which keeps me on the road quite a bit, but I love to have a comfortable, clean, and safe home to return to. While I'm home I love hanging out on my patio with a cold beverage, binge watching the latest (or throwback) series, or entertaining friends.
While I travel a lot for work, when I travel for leisure, I tend to enjoy a balance between experiences and relaxation. I love trying local spots and cuisine, but need relaxation and comfort.
Why they chose this property
The townhome is on a quiet one way street. The neighborhood is mostly residential with single family homes or duplexes. About two blocks north is H street, a strip of neighborhood bars and restaurants that provides a diverse set of food, convenience, and social businesses. A few blocks to the south is Lincoln Park which is popular among residents for green space, dog park, playground, sunbathing and exercising.
What makes this property unique
Once you see the roof, you'll know why I love the place. It is great for entertaining, relaxing, or outdoor movies. I also love the natural light that pours in from the big windows. Being above the street level also helps keep things quiet and relaxing.
