This memorable place is anything but ordinary w/swinging bench, open sky to watch the stars. Picnic table by the grill. Getaway and relax. Santeetlah Beach is only 2 miles. 10 minutes to The Dragon US129(extreme riding w/318 curves in 11miles. Cherahala Skyway US143w/breathtaking views. Appalachian trail and lots of hiking trails. Joyce Kilmer, Whitewater rafting, Trout fishing in the streams Fontana Lake is only 20 minutes. Smoke whatever you want just smoke it outside;)

Great experience 👍

Most definitely will stay again. It was a very welcoming cabin. We got in late, and they had the heat nice and warm, a few choices of hot tea, coffee, and snacks. Was very clean and smelled amazing. They even had a welcomijt book giving us ideas about where to go. Including the story of thier lifes, and other peopls visits tok. Very quite and relaxing place if you wanna get away for a dew days.

The Happy Cabin and the Hippie Hideaway are both small, simple rooms. If you're looking for an affordable place to sleep and recharge on US 129, this fits the bill. Drivers, be prepared, it is a gravel entry on a hill. If you're able to handle that, everything else is quite nice. Will likely stay here again.
