And she also knew the makings of a great beach vacation when it popped up on her radar. Always on the look-out for a new guest nest, Pinkie was familiar with the popular beach community of Old Florida Cottages. The palm-lined streets set the tropical tone of this intimate enclave of homes, which wraps itself around a seasonally heated pool. Highlighted by an arbor with white picket fence, the common area features grills, covered pavilion, lounge chairs and bathrooms…all for guest use. Beach access is super easy…just steps to Gulfview Heights where amenities include a picnic pavilion with tables, restrooms, showers and seasonal lifeguards. Beach ramps and steps lead out to the sugary white sands and turquoise waters of the Santa Rosa Beach.

Perfectly poised right across from the community pool, this 3-bedroom beach cottage stands ready to host your party of 11 and a well-behaved, housebroken doggie.
Today Pinkie happened to be making the rounds with her favorite furry sidekick…an all-white Husky named Pinot Grigio. “She was whining when she was born and unusually solid white in color so I named her after a white wine.” Pinot was quite the showstopper with gorgeous pale blue eyes and a truly blonde personality. Together they visited new properties…pet-friendly ones of course!
