Inside features a full service kitchen/dining/living room combination, one bedroom with Queen sized bed and full bath. Wifi is provided along with a smart TV. Area attractions include PA Rail Trail for biking and hiking, Dark Skies at Cherry Springs, Quaint town of Wellsboro near the PA Grand Canyon, and many other biking and hiking trails.

Great little cabin

We enjoyed our weekend away at the Sugar Shack. There were great local restaurants just down the road and plenty of access to outdoor adventures. The cabin offered a cozy place to hide from the storms and rest up for another day of adventuring. Can’t wait to go back again.

I surprised my husband with a weekend getaway here! We loved our stay. The cabin is clean, homey, and perfect for a couple! The surrounding area is gorgeous and we loved sitting by the fire pit at night. Lyle and Shelly are great hosts and communication was super easy. We came to the area for the Cherry Springs and this was a great location. The sky here is amazing too! It was a 30 min drive to the park area and 20 min to Wellsboro. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within a short drive.

Why they chose this property

The cabin has a feel of its own even though there are other cabins around. Pine Creek is across the road with access 1 1/2 miles away, at a bridge on the way to the property. It is a short drive to the Pine Creek Real Trail access, Lyman Run Lake/State Park, Wellsboro, PA Grand Canyon, and the Dark Skies at Cherry Springs State Park.
