About this property

Time to get away and relax in the Pine Creek Valley - fishing, hiking, biking!

Our cabin is one bedroom and very comfortable for two or three guests. It is perfect for a romantic getaway or a young family with a child. There is a large fireplace ring with wood available for purchase on site. Sitting on .43 acre, there is a lot of outdoor area to enjoy. An outdoor grill is provided for use. Inside, the cabin is stocked with everything our guests will need to feel at home and comfortable. Our kitchen includes a refrigerator, range, microwave, coffee pot, utensils, dishes, and pots and pans to cook.

Just what we needed for an unplug weekend at Pine Creek Gorge. The cabin is stocked with everything you could need! Comfy bed to recover from some seriously steep hiking. Not too far from Leonard Harrison and Colton Point state parks. Wellsboro was just too charming and also a fairly quick drive. We recommend Old Antlers Inn for dinner - right down the road. Thank you so much for a lovely weekend!

We felt very comfortable from the moment we walked through the door. It was very clean and you could tell the owners took pride in the place and wanted people to enjoy their stay. A couple of recommendations: A deck on the back of the house, which is the most private space, would be nice. Also, we would prefer a firmer mattress. But these are minor issues and we will definitely think of returning and recommend it highly.

The cabin was easy to get to and in a lovely location. There were rabbits and deer in the side yard each morning. We were there only to view the canyon and have an "unplugged" weekend, and this was the perfect place to do both!

Nothing short of AMAZING!This place was comfortable, cozy, and truly felt like a home away from home. I'll admit it—I’m a bit of a sheet snob. After a long day of hiking and riding, there's nothing worse than climbing into a rock-hard bed with scratchy sheets. Thankfully, that wasn't the case here. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the sheets felt just like home.It was the kind of place you actually looked forward to returning to each evening—a perfect spot to relax with your partner, play a few card games, read a book, and plan the next day's adventures. It made the downtime just as enjoyable as the adventures themselves.If our travels bring us back to explore the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here. We'd gladly book this place again!

Shelly owns a real estate company in Galeton, Pine Creek Real Estate. We love all of the outdoor activities that the Pine Creek Valley has to offer. We hope to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.

Why they chose this property

With almost one half an acre, you can enjoy the mountain views and relaxing atmosphere in side or out all year long. The full ring fire pit is available for a summertime campfire. Only a few minutes to fine dining and kayak/canoe rentals. Although we are not right on Pine Creek, it's views are right across the road.

What makes this property unique

Enjoy the peace and quiet that Sweet Spot has to offer. Take an early morning stroll on Lick Run Road right along Pine Creek. Lick Run Road is open to ATV's. There are maps at the cabin which show the trails where you can start right at the cabin and ride. We offer a cozy country cabin with wood floors and knotty pine open ceiling. The cabin is fully stocked with all of the cookware and utensils that you will need for a few night's stay.
