About this property

This beautiful Classic Cape May home that was built in 1920. Once you arrive, park (up to four )cars in your own private driveway and enjoy everything that makes Cape May a wonderful vacation destination. You are within a short walk to Jefferson Street beach, unique shops at the famous Washington Street Mall, and numerous award-winning restaurants. The Sip~n~Chat Cottage has four large bedrooms, and 3 full baths and sleeps 10. One bedroom and one bath are located on the first floor. Three bedrooms and two baths are located on the second floor. The kitchen is fully equipped and adjacent to the large dining room which has plenty of seating for you to enjoy your homecooked meals. The home also has a private outdoor shower as well as a full-sized laundry room. Enjoy your morning coffee on the large front porch watching the walkers pass by or, if you prefer, enjoy coffee off of the private back porch overlooking the beautiful yard. Enjoy a barbeque with enough outside seating for everyone in the home. For your comfort, the home has central air and heating system which means you can enjoy The Sip~n~Chat Cottage any time of year! Pets are welcome off season, beginning the 3rd week of September through the end of May.

Perfect Location and Setup

Stayed at Sip and Chat Cottage for the West Cape May Christmas Parade. Location was just a short walk from the Washington Street Mall - so house is in a nice and quiet are but conveniently located to all the sights and activities - Mall, Beach, etc. House was super clean, well maintained. Bedrooms are big/as advertised and the kitchen was well stocked - we didn't do any cooking but it the kitchen had everything you'd need. Definitely recommend.
