This unit is brand new Cavco Tiny Home/ Cabin and ready for memories. She comes in at just under 400 SF but has a ton of utility with the loft and high ceilings. Would be perfect for family with kids with the bunk room and a loft for hours of kid size fun. Walk to the feather river, lake almanor, or take a drive over to Lassen Volcanic Park only 30-minute drive. This is an awesome location for the recreation enthusiast without the crowds and traffic of Lake Tahoe.

Convenient location within town, walking distance to market and restaurant. Great little home with all necessary appliances for a short term stay. Great bath furnishings and comfortable bedding. Love the reclining chairs after a long day of hiking! One suggestion, replace frying pans as current ones are worn. Would return again if back in the area.

This was above and beyond my expectations! We were amazed at how airy and spacious it is and it was downright charming. The knotty pine was a sweet touch, and having a full sized refrigerator and a couch with reclining plus connections for our devices AND drink holders - priceless! Very functional little house.

Every year my sister and I visit the Lassen area to hunt mushrooms. This year did not disappoint. The kitchen is small and does not have an oven but we managed to create some excellent soup and Morel Stroganoff. We have stayed in a number of BnB's and would definitely return next year.

Fishing trip to Lake Almanor

The accommodations were perfect. VaLinda Abernathy was an excellent host who went way above the call of duty. The fishing wasn't very good but that wasn't her fault. Hope to use the cabin again.

New and getting there

The property is a new prefab tiny home cabin, perfect for a family. They have yet to put up house numbers or have an instruction book in the cabin, so we had a learning curve figuring everything out. It was new and immaculate, so overall we we very pleased.

being new i can see where things will be done more outside later this is a tiny home very well made has queen bed and bunks and a loft walk to store large fridge air conditioning wifi tv i like to cook so i had extra utensils with me left them ice trays id stay again close to lassen park

Chester/Lassen NP

Sadly, our trip was disrupted by the fires with heavy smoke in the area and Lassen NP closed on the day of our arrival, which was why we came to the area. So we had to leave next morning due to smoke and poor air quality and didn't get to check out the town or area at all. Tanya, the property manager, was responsive and helpful in facilitating communication with the owner, Nicholas.

I enjoyed my stay at this tiny house.It was clean and Tanya checked in to see if we needed anything during our stay,she was wonderful.Thankful home had an air conditioner,as I traveled during a hot spell.Due to an inaccuracy of descriptions,listed with a jacuzzi,Owner is refunding $250.,and I appreciate that,as I was looking forward to the jacuzzi for my back when I booked.Cute,clean and close to Main Street and market.Thanks again Tanya for everything 😀

We stayed to hunt in the area. We didn't spend a lot of time at the house but it was very clean and comfortable. Two things could have been better. The TV should be downstairs and the toilet paper dispenser is hard to get too.

Lake Almanor and Lassen

We planned to stay in this property but arrived to find it not ready. The property manager came by quickly to clean it but we ended up moving over to a different property owned by the same person. That one had a few minor issues as it wasn’t set up for use completely just yet. The manager was very apologetic and did everything to get things set up, but it was still frustrating. The property listed here seemed to match the listing and looked comfortable, even for up to 6 people in a tiny home.Overall, access to Almanor and Lassen was great, grocery store is a block away (the best grocery store in a 100 mile radius), and the property we moved to was clean. We had a great time, sans the initial frustration and move to a different house.

Listing didn’t match the actual place that we couldn’t get in because of the wrong code

They sent me the wrong code so we tried it get in for an hour and vbro wasn’t responding even after 20 njns so when the property manager finally showed up we were out there for a hour. There was no grill no hot tub and the backyard was unkept. Internet was horrible and the tv snd internet were off on the the first night which was horrible since we have young kids. Tania was a great property manager and got us some games and a small girlll so that I could cook my food as the stove was tiny and wasn’t hot enough. There was no Mountain View at all and we were told we were going to get a discount for all the hassles. Nothing happened.

We acknowledged there was some errors on the listing page concerning a hot tub which was indeed incorrect and this has been corrected. We also did our best to correct the access issues sending our property host immediately to assist with the door code as well as the internet issue. As agreed we did provide a refund of $150 which VRBO confirmed was refunded back to customer account on the day of checkout. Great little place for visiting Lassen Volcanic. It's a small house but perfect for the three of us and like having an extra large hotel suite. We liked the reclining loveseat. The town of Chester has some nice restaurants and a great grocery store. The loft is really better for kids or young adults. Doubtful an older couple would manage it well. Queen bed downstairs was quite comfy. (We never used the bunkbeds. But if you have 2-3 kids, this place works well.)
