Got kicked out because apartment owner is not allowed to sublease or rent
We didn't actually get a chance to stay because the apartment owner is not allowed, by management, to sublease or rent or allow anyone else to stay in the unit. When I was trying to find the unit, because the owner provided no information as to which building it was in or where we should park or anything like that, someone from the lease office asked me why I was looking for the place. I told him that I had a reservation through VRBO and he said that that wasn't allowed there. I let him know that we had driven to Colorado Springs all the way from Chicago to stay with our soldier who is stationed in the springs and that I had already paid for it and could provide a receipt. He told me it was against policy and if he saw us on the property after a squirting us off the police would be called because we would be trespassing. Prior to walking around trying to find the units, I had left the host a voicemail several hours prior and he never returned my call. I had also messaged him through your platform and was not getting a reply. He did tell me he would have his nephew meet us there to give us the key fob for the pool but he never provided information as to where to park or which building the unit was in. His nephew showed up around the same time that management was kicking us out and as I tried to approach the nephew's vehicle he quickly turned around. I called the host and explained what happens and he started whistling and then hung up the phone. We were stranded. Need more spa
