Ended up having change of plans - Owner super accomodating

We ended up having a change of plan and needing to cancel our stay at Phillip's property, and he was super responsive and accommodating. I'll definitely consider staying there again next time based on how understanding and helpful Phillip was with our change of plans.

We loved staying at Phillip’s place for a week! Check-in was a breeze and the home was exactly as pictured in the listing. Finding a place with enough beds for our family proved tricky, but Phillip’s house was exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything to cook your meals just like at home. There were plenty of towels and blankets. The whole place is very cozy and it feels more like you’re staying with family than some sterile new construction or a hotel. For the price and size, it can not be beat!

Wonderfully clean quaint home

We were in town for a week for my daughter’s softball tournament and stayed in Phillip’s home. It is a cute and quaint house in a quiet neighborhood and was very clean and comfortable. Close to Old Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. Kitchen is fully equipped and there is a Walmart Grocery less than a mile away which made prepping meals easy. Highly recommend this house for your stay in Colorado Springs!

Good location and comfy home

It was convenient for us to stay to drop our son at the AF Academy. The house is clean and cozy. It would really help if they would get rid of some of the clutter. It would make it feel bigger and less like someone is still living there. That would be my only suggestion.

I’m originally from Merriam (next to Overland Park), KS. I’m a retired Army Major and retired from Ft Carson as an Army Civil Service employee. I like to travel. I currently live in San Antonio, Texas. When it’s too hot there I come up here.

This is a quiet neighborhood close to shopping centers, and downtown.

What makes this property unique

This is more homey than regular rentals. When not rented I will fly up to spend a few days here.
I have left many items to make your stay easier;
Kitchen cooking items- crockpot, George Foreman grill, Omelette maker, Rice Cooker, Blender, Inverter Electric pad. Bose radio. Roku and Google upstairs an Roku in the office. Office has a large monitor and printer.
There is a pad in the shed for the lounge chair on the patio. If you have cassettes you may play them or the radio on the stereo system in the basement family room… has 4 speakers.
