We stayed at this property just last week and had a wonderful time. As advertised, the property was perfect for our family which ranged in age from 1 to 47! The kayaks and bikes were all in great condition and provided a great way to enjoy the island when we were a bit beached out! The property is perfect for kids of all ages to enjoy. Barbara was helpful and always responded immediately if we had any questions.
EVERYTHING about the home was beyond expectations. From the cleanliness of the property to the layout and size of the rooms to the common areas in the house all went toward creating the perfect week. Location was perfect and the serenity divine. The back porch with lounges and hammocks to the well kept grounds along with walks to the pond with kayaks, canoe and all the amenities as well as the outdoor basketball hoop, badminton court and a little putt putt course all enhanced our stay. The downstairs playroom with exercise equipment as well as a pool table, foosball, electric piano, ping pong table and so on simply kept us engaged all the time. Our annual family vacation could not have been better.
My husband and I and 4 other couples recently had the pleasure of staying at this property. It was absolutely perfect for our group. It offered a great kitchen to do some of our own cooking and comfortable beds. It was a perfect location not too far from town, close to Morning Glory Farms and quick access to the bike trails around Edgarton. They also had for our use, kayaks to use on the Great Pond, bikes, a fire pit and many other amenities. The owners went out of their way to give us tips and made us feel most welcome in their home! We would all definitely travel back and stay here Again!
This was a terrific house with great outdoor spaces and every amenity imaginable! We had kids and adults and everyone was well-served beyond expectations. Fabulous spot, easy access to just about everything. Awesome!

A perfect family vacation
My family had a wonderful vacation in this stunning, spacious home. The property is huge, with plenty of space for yard games, cookouts and campfires. The children enjoyed canoeing on the pond. The location is perfect; close to gorgeous beaches and our favorite market at Morning Glory Farm. It is impossible not to relax in this beautiful home!

A Beautiful Home
We had a wonderful week in this lovely spacious home.
It is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Plenty of room for a large family. The kitchen is very well equipped. You can't beat the location a short bike ride to the farm stand and Edgartown. The owners provide just about everything you could possibly need.
There are well maintained bicycles with locks and helmets, beach chairs, boogie boards, every kind of ball you can imagine and of course the kayaks and canoes.
We loved spending time at the pond after returning from the beach.

A perfect home for a family vacation on MV
A beautiful home on an amazing property. The house is much larger than it appears in the pictures. We were on a family vacation - 4 sisters and their respective families - 10 people in all. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The house is beautifully appointed. The bedroom are lovely. Lots of large bathrooms - a luxury on MV. The kitchen is modern and spacious - and we cooked almost every night. The property is so peaceful and serene. We loved the access to the pond. The owners made their kayaks and canoes available for our use and we had a delightful time on the water. We walked to Morning Glory in the morning for fresh muffins. Edgartown was a short bike ride away. Did I mention that the owners left 7 or 8 bikes in the garage for our use? The owners were very responsive when we had questions. In summary, I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great house on a peaceful property in a great location on Martha's Vineyard.

Fabulous Martha's Vineyard Retreat!
We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The house was very warm and spacious, and had every amenity that one would possibly need. The property was very clean and well maintained, and surrounded by beautiful wooded trees. There was a short walk to the pond where we went kayaking and boating. We ate several meals out on the large patio deck and had BBQ's and roasted marshmallows around the backyard fire pit. They even had a basketball hoop and volleyball sand court. The owners were so lovely and we would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wanted a fabulous vacation on the vineyard.

Excellent
This was a wonderful house for our family of 13. The grounds are well kept on 8 acres with a volley ball court, freezbee tossing contests and a 10 minuet walk to the pond, which is an oasis of birds, swans and total solitude. If desired take the canoe or one of the kayaks for a paddle and see more of this big pond.
The kitchen is very complete with spices, blenders, and all the cooking tools needed for a gourmet dinner or bacon and eggs.
The rear of the house with a fire pit was wonderful and the gas grill was clean and new.
There are plenty of beach and folding chairs and 7 excellent bicycles to pedal into town or beach.
The beds are very comfortable well maintained with softy sheets and towels. The 4600 square feet provides space for all and in the cellar there is a game room, with a TV, which the grandchildren used frequently to play games and provide a show for their parents. Air conditioning was needed most nights which accommodated the house except one downstairs bedroom. However a window AC was available for that room. The house is adorned with paintings by the owner that are very good and brighten up a dismal day.
The location of the house is 2.3 miles to Edgar town so bicycles are best used as parking is a problem with limited spaces or you be dropped off and picked up by someone from your party.
We highly recommend this house with a great location and 2 miles to the airport that has Jet Blue, Cape Air and Delta service.

A Vineyard Gem
My family and I have been vacationing on MV for over forty years and a dear friend once told me that some people just don't "get it." Well, the homeowners of Wintucket certainly DO get the spirit of Martha's Vineyard. The home is beautiful, spacious, very well maintained and offers the kind of relaxed ambience which says, "Unwind, laugh and cry, sleep and exercise, but above all, never have a plan." The homeowners as well as caretakers are extremely attentive to needs and very available. The private location, short distance to the pond and boats, along with many amenities make this home a true "Vineyard Gem."

Beautiful & spacious home with lots of amenities
Our friends and family recently stayed at this lovely home. We had a great time. We've been renting on MV since 1995 and this is certainly one of the nicest homes we've ever rented.
It is large and could accommodate our group easily and no one felt crammed. The kids loved the air hockey room in the basement and of course the canoes. What a great perk to be able to canoe or bike right there! It also came with kayaks which we didn't get to use but hopefully will next year.
The house has a huge backyard and a nice trail down to the pond. It is also close to a farm with miniature horses which the kids also liked.
The owners are very nice and quick to respond. Another perk is that the home comes with linens and has AC which many MV homes don't have. You'll have a memorable stay if you decide to rent this home. Enjoy!

Wonderful. As advertised. Couldn't ask for more.
Recently returned from a week with my family of three kids 2,4,6 and another family of three kids 2,6,10 years old. Wonderful experience. The house is very clean, very bright, and better in person than in photos. Barbara was very easy to reach via cell phone or email. On site service was excellent as well. We spent our days at the beach and our evenings in the yard and on the deck. Plenty of place for the kids to play and ride their bikes. Spent 2 afternoons in the canoe/kayaks. Happy to find beach chairs, umbrellas, and even a football and kite to borrow for the beach. Easy access to Edgartown via bike path or quick ride in the car. I would recommend this rental to anyone. The owners/caretaker clearly pay attention to detail.

Wonderful Vacation
WOW!!! We were three families and the home was perfect. I have rented on the vineyard for many years and this was one of the best homes as far as location and comfort. We all had plenty of space and the yard and deck were perfect! The bike path was right there and South Beach and all three major towns were close enough for a bike ride or short drive. The home was so comfortable and the added bonus of the linens included was great. Plus bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, all in excellent condition made it so easy. The owner Barbara was easy to correspond with before our stay, and the property manager Mike was awesome! All in all, I would recommend this home it was a great vacation, maybe next year we will stay two weeks!!!!

Beautiful home, beautiful property.
We had a wonderful vacation in Martha's Vineyard and it was largely due to the comfort of this home, its beautiful grounds and perfect location. It is peaceful and quiet yet close to the center of Edgartown, clean, and well furnished. The pond is a short walk through the woods where boats are launched and there's easy access to the extensive bike paths which are right outside the entrance to the house. All of the bedrooms are large and nicely furnished and the bathrooms are modern and new. The kitchen has a large center island that is the perfect spot for crowds to gather. We enjoyed bike riding, kayaking, walks, BBQs, and fresh fish dinners on the beach. We highly recommend this property for a memorable stay in Martha's Vineyard.

Truly Paradise! Best Vacation Home on the Island
We had a wonderfully relaxing stay with 3 couples, in this beautiful vineyard retreat. The extensive grounds make it very private and peaceful. We enjoyed walking through our very own forest to the pond and kayaking to the beach. BBQ on the deck, snoozing in the hammock, biking around the island on the separated bike paths, and day hikes right out your door. The house is immaculate, the upscale kitchen well equipped, the large center island a great socializing place, the newly redone bathrooms with good quality bed linen & towels a welcome luxury, we appreciated the King size beds in 4 of the 6 bedrooms. Definitely recommend this superior vacation home for couples and we would return with kids and grandkids!

Romance, elegance and fun on 9 acres in Edgartown!
The property is fabulous! Romantic and elegant with extensive grass and wooded areas, horse corrals, pond and beach. The owners have beautifully furnished the home in a mix of country and contemporary, with a very comfortable and inviting feel. In addition, they have supplied numerous bicycles, boats and other 'toys'. The home is very conveniently located, minutes to numerous towns, ferries and stores. We loved everything about the property and look forward to future visits.

Absolute Perfection!
I stayed for about a week at this house with my boyfriend and my family...it was absolute perfection! First off, this place was huge. Wonderful for families. Us (adult) kids had the upstairs and my parents had the gorgeous master bedroom downstairs. There were even bedrooms to spare. They had plenty of linens and towels in the laundry room upstairs. The décor was super cute, definitely gives you the New England feel.
Also, it was in a great location, just a few minute drive or a nice bike ride into downtown Edgartown. Edgartown is charming, filled with great restaurants, cute stores and delicious ice cream shops.
My favorite thing to do every morning was to take a five minute bike ride to a little market (Morning Glory) right by the house. We bought fresh breads, muffins and produce for breakfast. It was such a treat.
Next on the list of things to do is take the path from the house to the secluded lake. I went fishing on the lake with my dad and I even caught a fish! We would kayak in the lake and it was so calm and empty. Except for the swans swimming with us...no joke!
I am so excited to rent this place again, we are already booking again for 2014! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. I can't wait to do it again...I am craving the muffins from Morning Glory and hopefully I will catch another fish next year. Thanks again, the house is absolute perfection.

Perfect House for Play and Relaxation
This is a great house for anyone – it is quite spacious, with large bedrooms, and a fantastic open kitchen that makes dinner prep/parties a fun time. It’s on a huge parcel of land, which is perfect for outdoor activities. There is a really cool trail that leads to a secluded lake. One of my friends caught a big fish that we cooked and ate, it was fantastic. The house has some really cool appointments and you could tell the owners take good care of it. There is an outdoor deck and pool that is perfect for relaxing. I have already emailed the owners and scheduled my trip for next year.

Fantastic Vacation House
We've rented properties on MV for 20 years and this is the best rental of all of them! The house is well-appointed with everything that you could need or want. The house is even better than what is in the listing description. This is a great vacation home that is centrally located and well maintained. We plan to rent this house again next year!

Perfect Vacation Home for the Whole Family
We stayed at this wonderful house with our family over Memorial Day week and had the perfect vacation. This house is well cared for by the new owners and has all the amenities a family could want including a spacious kitchen for family gatherings, a big deck for outdoor dining overlooking the expansive property, comfortable lovely furnishings, rooms for playing games, TV, etc, spacious and comfortable bedrooms for all, and even a pool for the kids. This house is centrally located in Edgartown on the south side of the island right off the bike path which takes you to the village in one direction or up island in the other direction along the many bike trails. A short walk on the property leads you the Great Pond where we saw swans and many birds. We were able to enjoy the many beaches and restaurants on the island since the location of this house was only a short distance from everything. The owners were helpful and we all hope to return again next summer.
