About this property
Amazing A-Frame on Lake Murray - Pets Welcome
This unique A-frame tiny home has everything you need:
+Maximum quiet and spectacular natural serenity.
+kitchenette, gas grill, fire pit with cooking grate
+private dock, boat launch and fish-cleaning station (shared only by us and other guests on our property)
The house is just steps from the water and features a wonderful covered porch overlooks the water. Perfect for a romantic getaway, a quick recharge or fantastic memories with your family!
The space
This is a place that’s built for those who love the outdoors.
The interior of the A-frame is new, clean, neat and efficient. It's a small space, meant to thrust you toward the outdoors (there are shades on the windows and fast wi-fi for rainy days)!
There’s a wonderful porch, which has chairs and a table which are perfect for enjoying a morning coffee, an afternoon drink or a midnight howl at the MOON.
We make every effort to stock our cabin with premium touches—like better toilet paper and quality coffee.
There is a single burner electric cooktop inside, a fireplace grill and a gas-powered grill just outside your door.
Space for food prep is limited, though we have made every effort to stock the small kitchen with plenty of tools!
If you need a specialty item, just ask. We are foodies and collect plenty of that…
We also have plenty of firewood stacked in various spots around the A-frame.
If you need more—-or want us to start a fire for you—just message us the details!
Our goal is to make sure your stay is a five star experience!
Guest access
When here, you’re welcome to roam all of the 20 acres at the end of our private road.
Spotting deer in the early morning is nearly guaranteed, and you’ll surely see the mighty blue heron around the shores…. You may even see owls or a bald eagle!
Parking is ample.
Bring your boat!
We’ve had guests bring everything from floats to large boats and all types of trucks and even an 18 wheeler.
I challenge you to find a vehicle that you don’t have room for here. It’s simply impossible.
IMPORTANT:
you won’t find another stay quite like this one—Prices Bridge prevents all boats from entering our cove. This means your privacy and quietude are rarely disturbed.
Also: we’re a family run property, no corporate outfit behind the scenes!
Just me, my husband and our two kids…hosting is our passion and we look forward to seeing you through a “5-star” stay!
If you're outside long enough, you'll probably run into one of us -- please say hello, we love meeting new friends!
Other things to note
NOTEWORTHY:
++ We welcome your pets for an additional $30. They are welcome to be “off-leash” provided they aren’t dangerous for our one-year old.
You’ll enjoy access to:
-a boat launch,
-a dock,
-picnic table,
-chairs and swings,
-a canoe,
-20 acres of lakefront area to roam
-2 kayaks and several GIANT floats.
-While there is ample room to explore within Prices Bridge Cove, to visit Lake Murray “proper” you’ll exit from our launch and drive to either of two public launches or innumerable private ones.
-While you’re more than welcome to enjoy yourself here, this is NOT a place to throw a party.
-The A-frame is ideally suited to couples, and couples with a child or two.
-If you want to bring more than 3 people along, we offer camping and have other rental options on these wonderful acres.
-You’ll have access to 20 walkable acres, half of which is forest. There is one nice marked trail which has been cleared to tractor width that takes through .4 miles of gengyou to the peninsula point (Norman’s Point).
When you’re here you’re family!
We have a lot of seasonal activities you may want to participate in, for instance we offer painting classes.
From summer on, we have lots of vegetables in our garden.
We also have egg-laying chickens if you’re in the mood for a farm fresh omelette.
Want to explore?
Borrow a kayak or canoe and head out on the lake or…
…walk our marked .4 mile hike out to Norman’s Point for some epic photos.
We work very hard to cultivate a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, so whether you need an escape from your busy life or just a place to stay while you’re in town you’ll find it here!
