Some places you visit. This one you exhale into. Thirteen private acres on a true ridgetop above the French Broad — not a slope with a peek at a peak, but roughly 180 degrees of unobstructed mountain horizon: the Pisgah range filling one side, Mitchell on the other. Skies that blaze with the Milky Way, a new cedar soaking tub set into the slope, a river-rock fire pit, and resident wildlife. Yours alone, just 20 minutes from downtown Asheville.

A word about the land: This is wild, managed, unspoiled country — not a manicured resort — and that’s exactly why the right guests fall for it. We’re committed to the long-term restoration and conservation of this land, with more habitat work and lodging experiences planned in the seasons ahead.
Quiet nights. Skies blazing with more stars than you knew were up there. Wild country at the edges, and a great dinner in Asheville just down the road. Come let the mountains do what they do.
Guests will have full access to the +/- 1000 square foot residence within the Chic Barndomium. The workshop area is locked and off-limits to guests as it houses tools and other planting supplies being used to restore the property that may not be suitable for young guests.
