About this property

Pet Friendly 2 bed/2 bath, Hot Tub, Pool, Large Yard, West Asheville

Come enjoy our oasis in West Asheville! Relax by the pool with a cool drink, rest your tired muscles in the hot tub built for 4 and make smores by the fire pit. Enjoy our large yard with corn hole and horseshoes & cook out on the gas grill. You are welcome to play some records or one of my guitars! We are 1.5 miles to all the fun stuff happening in West Asheville and 4 miles ($10 Uber ride) to downtown. We really love our house and know that you will enjoy it as well!
The space
2 bedrooms, 2 full baths. Queen bed in each bedroom, fold down futon good for children as well as a roll away twin size folding bed and a Full size blow up mattress. Fully furnished kitchen, whole house water filtration, dining table seats 6, washer & dryer, deck with table for 4 and gas grill, large pool with lounge chairs and hot tub which will accommodate up to 4 people. House sits on a dead end street and has a large yard for children to play in.

Guest will have the whole house to themselves.
Other things to note
We request that glass is not brought outside to the pool area. Please do not allow animals into the pool as the pool liner could be torn. No sharp objects in the pool. Please do not leave children unattended in the pool or hot tub, and replace hot tub cover when not in use. Please put outdoor umbrella's down when not in use as storms can come in quickly and knock them over. Please do not leave fire pit unattended when in use! Please let us know if you plan to have guests over, we request no loud parties as we don't want to disturb our neighbors.

We loved our stay here. Everything was in pristine condition. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to make a few meals at the house. The pool and hot tub were flawless. The beds were very comfortable. Our hosts were great with communication. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great stay!

We loved our stay at the blue house. The house suits Asheville perfectly. Eclectic with interesting furniture, decor, and lovely houseplants. I kept noticing things I hadn't seen before as days went on. The hosts were kind, informative, and patient with me as I kept forgetting to pay the pet fee. Our favorite part was the pool. It was beautiful and clean and felt very private. The hot tub was also nice but it was a bit too hot out to enjoy it during our stay. The location of the house was also wonderful. A couple of minutes to west Asheville and a cheap uber downtown. I'm sure I'm forgetting things, but all in all it was an excellent trip and we would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Stay

Our 5-night stay was fantastic. The house was very clean, well laid out, pleasantly decorated, and thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal and enjoy coffee or other beverages. The owners may have thought of everything in terms of household and kitchen and bath supplies and amenities. Temperature and climate in the home were easily controlled, and the bed we used was very comfortable. The neighborhood was rustic but did not feel unwelcoming or unsafe. The pool was a great size, there were only two of us but it was spacious enough for several more. The hot tub was comfortable, convenient to the pool, and both pool and hot tub water were pristine. The fence surrounding the pool area provided ample privacy. The well cared for surrounding yard provided several different outdoor relaxation options.There was a lot to see and do in Asheville and the surrounding area so we had a lot of options for daily adventures - everything from waterfalls, to dog parks, to homemade ice cream, to delicious cuisine. When we chose to take it easy and relax at the house we were able to do so in cozy comfort. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in the yard and saw a beaver, baby bunnies, and a great variety of birds, including the guinea hen!Working with Katherine and Andrew was an absolute pleasure. They responded very quickly to our pre-stay questions and were easily reachable during our stay. If re-visiting Asheville we would happily stay again in this home!

Why they chose this property

The house is at the end of a dead end street, we have lots of privacy and for families with little ones you don't have to worry about traffic or too much noise. 5 minutes to the cafe's and bars in West Asheville, 10 minutes to downtown. We renovated this house ourselves and lived in it for several years. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

What makes this property unique

This house has a great location where you can get downtown easily or go over to West Asheville in 5 minutes where there are restaurants, shops and bars. The pool and hot tub are wonderful if you want to spend the day or evening relaxing at home. If you like birdwatching I have a list of many of the birds you can see right from our porch or deck. I love the privacy this house affords.
