Lovely 3 Bedroom Rental on the Au Sable River

All the comforts of home, directly on the AuSable River! This 19th century building has 4 units, high ceilings, & tons of natural light. Unit 1 is located on the 1st floor. Each unit has shared access to the front yard, private fire pits overlooking the river & assigned off street parking space in the driveway for your vehicle. Wonderful, location with several local amenities & close to many Adirondack attractions.

Centrally, located between Lake Placid & Plattsburgh, NY in the heart of Au Sable Forks on the main road to Wilmington (White Face), & Lake Placid. We’re directly on the East branch of the Au Sable River & walking distance to many things. Including, a shuttle to Lake Placid/Whiteface. Unit 1 is located on the first floor and has 2 beautifully decorated bedrooms & one office. Bedroom 1 has a double bed. The second bedroom is slightly smaller & also has a full size bed. The third room has a desk & daybed. The large living room/dining room features a comfortable sofa and love seat with a flat screen smart TV over a non working fireplace. Complimentary, coffee & tea is also available on the coffee bar. All units have an assigned off street parking space for 1 vehicle. Each unit has shared access to the yard, which faces the river and features outdoor seating and a fire pit. Firewood, will be provided for your convenience. From the yard you can take the short path down the bank to access the river. This building was originally constructed in the 1900’s & still has some of it’s original charm but has been recently updated.

One small to medium dog (under 50lbs) is allowed in the unit & must be leashed at all times, while outside. Pets are not to be left alone in the apartment unless they are crated or outside during your stay. All poop must be bagged & discarded in the trash bin & we ask that you do not allow your pets on the furniture or to dig holes in the yard. We’re allowing pets on a trial basis in the hopes that people will be respectful. Please, don’t ruin it for others. Exploring, the Adirondacks with your pet is a great experience.

We know how difficult it is to travel with little ones, and we are happy to take some of the stress off of your hands. ADK Riverside Retreat will loan you the following equipment free of charge:

Equipment, is available on a FCFS basis. If you’d like any of these items for your stay, please request them when securing your reservation. If you requested this equipment & availability has been confirmed,
it will be waiting for you in your unit upon arrival. If you are already on site and would like to add any of these items, please message us about availability.

Note that we do not provide baby gates for staircases, and our homes are not “baby-proofed” with respect to sharp corners, electrical outlets, etc. Adults will need to carefully watch their children.
