Lake Front Home, with Private Boat Launch, Beach, Pet Friendly

Nestled in the heart of Glenhaven. This beautiful 2 bedroom 1 bath home is located on Clear Lake, and directly across from Mt. Konocti. Built in 1935 this lake front home has completed a full remodel.

You can spend your days fishing off of your private pier, playing on your private beach, or taking the boat out for a little bass fishing from your private boat launch just 20 feet away from your large redwood deck with glass windbreak.

An added bonus is the small public beach adjacent to the house. At night listen to the wave’s crash against the dock and lap onto the beach. This house feels more like a beach house then a lake house.

As others have said, the kitchen was incredibly well stocked. You could probably prepare Thanksgiving dinner there. And I loved the island counter space as well. The fenced in deck allowed the puppers to be outside with us without a leash which was great. All in all a very relaxing stay, enjoyed listening to the waves lapping up on the shore and the beautiful views.

My family and two dogs have been coming here annually and enjoyed our stay as usual. The host is very responsive and kind. The property is clean and has everything we needed. We love coming here to relax and rest to get away from the Silicon Valley grind and to watch our dogs swim and play in the private entry to the lake.

Our family enjoyed our lake trip and the home was perfect. Communications were easy and accurate and the home had all the amenities we needed. It was windy in the late afternoon and evening that we weren’t prepared for but other than that we had a great time!

So lucky this property was available for July 4. Everything was smooth from check in to check out. Great time, soooo relaxing! Got some super sleep under the trees by the lake… both me and the pup. Dog friendly and great area. So glad I took the weekend away to chill and relax. TY So much for sharing your little piece of heaven with us! Definitely will be back!

This is our 7th year staying at this property. As always, the property was in great shape and everything was in order. Clean rooms, all kitchen items are available, and the host is very responsive if needed. We have already booked for next year!

I would not recommend for bass anglers.CONS:Only the main area of the house is air conditioned, fans are provided, but it’s not as comfortable as air conditioning.Gravel washes onto the ramp both above and below the water line, I had trouble pulling my boat out as my truck tires were slipping in the gravel. Proper maintenance of the launch ramp was lacking.The house sits on the main lake with no 5 mph buffer, boat wakes and wind driven waves cause the dock to bounce around a lot.

This time of year the water level is low. I did send you multiple pictures of the launch and lake prior to your stay and also gave you the option to launch 3 miles down the road if necessary. The guest that checked in 2 weeks after you launched from my property and was able to bring his boat in each night. He felt the ramp was clear enough to do what he needed to do.

This house is the perfect location at the lake. Being seniors, we didn’t want to drive to a fishing spot anymore. How great is it to simply walk out to the back yard and fish off the dock. The house had everything we needed to feel at home, including the huge fishing net to scoop up the huge PB catfish my husband caught because the one we brought was too small. Lisa was so kind and helpful, even despite the water tank issue affecting the whole neighborhood. We had a great time. We’ve already recommended this place to family and friends and hope to come back. Thank you Lisa!

I think this is the best location on the lake. The house is located on deep water, and directly across from Mt. Konocti. This is not a house on the channel or the keys so the water moves and is cleaner.
