The owners are great people the digital lock malfunctioned and the owner was there as quick as he could be. The house inside is awesome the bed was so good I’m buying that mattress. Back porch is so awesome. Hot tub is really great. Nice owners. Interesting place to visit
Had a wonderful time, place was very clean, everything as pictured, we had some bad storms come thru, Nick, made sure us ladys were ok thru the entire storm, we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay or a better person to rent from. Hope to visit again soon. Thanks for sharing your home with us. Dawn
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lily Pad. This is our second stay here and this was even better than the first!! Nice, clean home. They even had it smelling so fresh when we arrived. All the amenities we needed.
Extremely clean! Owner very responsive and nice! We loved the huge porch and the views!

Family Lake Trip
Pros-It’s a beautiful location with great fishing. Cons- The code did not work when we got there and it took over an hour to get in touch with the property owner! There was no alternate way to enter the property and his only solution was waiting even longer on a locksmith. The dishwasher was left full!. A very dirty bacon pan full of grease was left in the oven. We brought extra beach towels for the hot tub and I still had to wash towels to have enough for a family of six only staying two nights. No life jackets for the canoes or kayaks.
I went and fished a tournament on Lake Guntersville, and the house was perfect. Great location when launching out of Goose Pond.

My family had a nice relaxing stay right after Christmas. The house has been beautifully upgraded and was very comfortable for our family of four. My husband especially enjoyed the hot tub while I enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the lake.
If you are looking for a place that is far enough off the beaten path that you can unplug from the world, but close enough to civilization that you can get what you need, this is that place. The house is clean, the appliances and cookware is excellent. The porch is a place where you will spend most of your days and nights. The hot tub provides you lake views, privacy, and a place to relax and zone out to your favorite TV shows. You are 45 minutes from amazing Georgia BBQ in Trenton. 45 minutes from Chattanooga, 45 minutes from Huntsville, and 5 minutes from Scottsboro. We have enjoyed this home two years in a row and are already planning year three.
Our Alabama vacation adventures have come to an end but the memories made will surely last a lifetime. Our week was full of everything from fishing, fire flies, fishing, NASA Space Exploration, fishing, Veterans Memorial museum, fishing, hiking, fishing, waterfalls, fishing, and a little swimming. We had the most fun trying lures and finally getting the catch we wanted. We lost a few to the gar & hydrilla but we caught a Guntersville giant, and Alyssa caught her biggest bass ever on a tiny hook from a kayak. We had fun shopping the Unclaimed Baggage store where Alyssa scored a mini camcorder that we naturally both enjoyed. We hiked, ate wild berries and took in the views of the Pisgah Gorge Waterfall. We are so thankful for these little hideaways that families much like ours open up to share with others. We soaked up everything that we could and left the worries in the valleys. We try not to take a moment for granted Blessed beyond measure! We really enjoyed the week here!Pro tip ..bring braided fishing line and top water baits, kayak though the tunnel to your own private fishing paradise with MONSTER BASS!
We celebrated Christmas. The weather worked out so that we were able to fish, build a bon fire, roast marshmallows and use the hot tub. The house is very cute and the beds were comfy, there was plenty of space in the kitchen for serving and storing our food. The deck is very spacious, but it was a little to chilly for us to use. It was a nice getaway for our small family.
Cute, cute, cute!!! Super clean, comfy beds, everything you need. The porch was by far our favorite thing. We enjoyed lazy days, eating, fishing and watching football. Very close to restaurants and stores.

Fishing trip
The property was nice, only needed a place to eat dinner and sleep since we went fishing all day during the week. Only downfall, the first night there there was dirty towels in both bathrooms and all three beds had looked slept in and not changed. Called the property manager and he was confused because he had the home cleaned a day prior. Hours later another crew came to change the bedding and get us fresh towels. In texting the property manager, he said he was going to comp our first night because the situation was not ideal, sadly we weren't comped the that first night. All in all, the home was nice and it was a nice place to stay, just hope no issues arise where you need the property manager.
If you are looking for a perfect place to stay right on the water then stop looking! This place is absolutely perfect! We loved our stay and we will be back!
Great house, amazing screened in deck! Great property! In cove but short boat trip to main channel. Good fishing even off the dock! Wild life seen. Hope to be able to book again soon! Owner easy to contact, very helpful!
My family had a great time at the property as a surprise for my sons 14th birthday. The boys enjoyed fishing off the dock and the girls enjoyed the kayak and hot tub. We had a great birthday meal that we grilled and ate on the screened in porch as a family!
We had a great time overall at this property. The house was clean except for a couple things. The porch and hottub area didn't have clean cushions so you didn't want to sit on some of the outdoor furniture. They tell you about the fishing but no poles to use. The ownee said they had some broken one's but we didnt see anything for fishing. The kayaks were not in the broken rack so they were full of water on the ground.
Overall it was great ..need towels for upstairs bathroom if you have more than 2 guests. Towels in downstairs bathroom need to be replaced stained and dingy. We only had 2 rolls of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms good thing we brought our own. Refrigerator needed to be cleaned better..overall the price was great for the place but your housekeeping fee needs to be re- evaluated because of those things i mentioned. Would recommend to stay again.

Lake ?
Not what we expected! More like being on the slew of the lake. The screen in porch was nice.
We enjoyed our stay at Lily Pad. All beds were comfortable and clean. The screened in porch was our favorite location in the house! Spent our evenings relaxing and playing games in a very comfortable location.
We did not enjoy the condition of the water due to extreme overgrowth of grasses. And we were unpleasantly surprised by the view of a nuclear power plant right across the river.
The porch was lovely for gathering but the cushions were dirty. Not terrible, just distracting from the otherwise welcoming room. The dishwasher was falling apart and ultimately stopped working. A bother! Would we stay here again? Yes with the assurances that all appliances were working. The waterside view was a joy. For TV fans, there are 6 TV’s, but no reading lights in the upstairs bedrooms.
Pros:
The space was exceptionally clean and had comfortable bed and furniture. The shower had great water pressure. It was quiet and peaceful in the house as well as on the porch. The door code we were given was incorrect but the owner responded promptly with the correct code.
Cons:
We arrived at dark and were unable to use the master suite downstairs because the light bulbs were out in the stairwell making it too dark to safely carry luggage down the steep stairs. Light bulbs were out on the porch, and laundry room as well. We were unable to cook food we had purchased because all of the cookware had scratched teflon coating and didn’t appear safe to use. It was just as well because there was a problem with the dishwasher making it unusable as well. I’m sure if we had taken the time to reach out to the owner he would have addressed the issues. We just didn’t want to go through the hassle.
We still had a nice getaway, just had to adjust our plans on the fly. It is a comfortable little house and the porch made up for the downfalls.
