ABOUT THE AREA (ELIZABETH, IL)

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

* Farm boundaries are clearly marked and guests are required to stay on Endress Farm Property. Any guests (or pets) ranging outside of designated Endress Farm Property will be asked to leave the property immediately without refund.

* Due to being situated in a valley, The Farm has VERY limited cell phone signal and all calls from the house REQUIRE Wi-Fi calling to be enabled. Starlink high-speed internet is available and allows for multiple devices to connect, call, stream and Zoom! without buffering. (70MB download / 80MB upload).

* Power outages are common in our rural area and Endress Farm is powered by a whole-home backup generator. Please note that during lightning/thunderstorms WiFi can be interrupted for the duration of the storm.

* All barns are off-limits to guests during their stay. (There's nothing exciting in them anyways!)

* Quiet hours are between 11PM and 8am. Even though our neighbors are not close, loud noise travels down the valley so please be respectful.

* No firearms, fireworks, ATVs or other motorized vehicles are allowed on the farm.

* There is a RING security camera mounted near the front door and above the garage. These are not actively monitored during guest stays.

GETTING AROUND:

The Farm provides ample parking for up cars, trucks and SUVs near the farmhouse and down near the barns. Access is located 2 miles down a gravel road and driveway is steep but manageable with both 2WD and 4WD cars.

During winter months drive can be icy, however we do have snowplow service.

Farmhouse Getaway
We would definitely come back to this farm house! Very peaceful and relaxing. Our host Matt provided us with everything we needed and more, including a detailed list of the property and things to do during our stay. He really made our family feel welcome. The house was decorated nicely and was fully equipped, especially the kitchen. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Hosts and Property for Family Getaway
We had a great stay at the farmhouse property in March. Having visited from a busy area, we were delighted by the quiet and total lack of traffic noise. The walking paths around the property offer beautiful views of rolling hills, and a chance to wander peacefully. Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to know about the property and surrounding area to make the most of our vacation. The layout felt cozy and inviting, and its amenities made for a comfortable stay. The kids watched movies in the front room, everyone had space to read and relax, house provided strong Wi-Fi, and we all enjoyed games around the big table in the dining room. The pond provided a fun option for the kids to canoe and tree swings on the property were a hit. The house is an easy drive from downtown Elizabeth, where we explored antique shops. Lola’s Deli was a highlight for its welcoming vibe and delicious food and Small Town Saloon offered a local bar setting with enjoyable bar-food. We picked up groceries at Sullivan’s in Stockton, and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, which had all updated appliances. We hope to return for a stay in warm weather, to enjoy the pond and stargazing at night.

Fantastic family getaway!
My husband and I spent a weekend at this beautiful location with our two kids (5 & 2). Matt was incredibly communicative ahead of arrival, outlining all necessary details for our stay including things at the home, how to make our stay easy and comfortable, and activities to do both onsite and in the neighboring towns. The property is stunning and exactly as described. We can't wait to go back, many times over!

My wife Amanda are avid travelers, horse folks and have two younger children. We bought our first AirBnB 10 years ago as we were fed up with disappointing homes, ruined vacations and non-communicative hosts. We now own 3 AirBnB's with the simple goal of surpassing guest expectations and ensuring awesome vacations.

Clean properties, high-quality appointments & great communication are just the beginning... Welcome to our home. Matt and Amanda
