Everything was clean and all amenities were great. I have one suggestion, since it rained most of the time we were there, the parking area was one big mud puddle. Maybe get more gravel to firm it up. We will definitely stay there again!
We loved this place. Stocked kitchen, fireplace that is in both the living room and the bedroom. Spacious hot tub half covered and half uncovered to see the stars. Remote location. Highly recommend.
The house for was very romantic and everything we were looking for. Hot tub was wonderful and cabin spacious for 2 people. Fireplace was wonderful addition. Can't wait to go back.
the view was amazing!! the seclusion was wonderful, overall this property was one of our favorites we’ve ever stayed at! it was so beautiful and such a perfect romantic getaway for me and my husband! And it was awesome we were able to bring the dogs! From the hot tub, jacuzzi tub, bed swing, grilling some delicious steaks and burgers, s’mores by the fire pit, seeing breathtaking views of the stars (and multiple shooting stars) and sunrise Bible study, it was better than we could’ve dreamt up! what an incredible gem of a stay! we will definitely be back again!
This was the most perfect cabin for two. Just as described and we will definitely visit again. The only thing we would personally recommend is trimming the trees that are blocking the beautiful Mountain View.
The house was beautiful inside. A perfect getaway for a couple.
We had a great time. The property was secluded and quiet which was wonderful. At night we watched the fireflies light up the trees which was beautiful.
Very remote allowing us to relax and enjoy nature. We could get WiFi on our phone but Just wish there was WiFi that we could sign onto imstead of using phone data.
This place had everything on my checklist for a mountain getaway with my wife.
The outdoor jacuzzi worked very well, the two sided indoor gas fireplace worked great and was enjoyable, the outdoor fire pit was nice with plenty of firewood provided. The kitchen was well supplied and the cabin was comfortable and clean. The view was nice but it is no longer what it shows in the photos as vegetation has obviously grown since then so parts of it are obstructed. I know it would take some work, but it would be great to see the vegetation trimmed, especially along the porch.
We really wanted to get up to the cabin in the daylight but that didn't work out. The initial drive up to the cabin was a little sketchy in the dark if you have never been. We were glad there was no inclement weather during our stay as most all of the road off Silvermine is gravel. The directions in the email were a bit confusing. Just be sure when you get to Georgianna Road, don't go straight, take the left turn onto JP Grant.
All in all, a great stay in a great area! Thank you!
The directions to the property were good. The road is gravel, very steep in spots and curvy. Driving a large truck can be tricky in spots that are only one lane. Directions say red front door. It’s not, it’s black, so that was a little confusing. We missed the street sign that stated Dreamcatcher. The cabin has a small faded sign that says Dreamcatcher, but that needs to be touched up too. The pictures on VRBO show an amazing view of the mountains. Unfortunately, this time of year there was way too much foliage to see any mountain range. You have to stand at the very front corner of the front part of porch to have a view. We loved watching the stars at night on the bed swing out back. Again, there is a big cedar tree that needs to be chopped down right next to the porch where the hot tub is at, took away your view of even the stars out at night. I guess it maybe there for privacy, since the road is close. I think of the four nights we stayed, we maybe saw two cars drive by. It’s pretty remote and private without some of the cedar trees around the place. Otherwise, the place was wonderful. Perfect for a couple. The kitchen had all the pot and pans. Cabinets had plates and cups, utensils. Had a coffee pot and Keurig. Hot tub was wonderful after kayaking in the freezing water all day. The fireplace worked well too. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us.
My spouse and I loved the location of this cabin…seclusion is what we were looking for and we got it! The hot tub under the stars was lovely and the king sized bed was extremely comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with all appliances needed. The only suggestion I would make is to update the pictures and view on the listing as the furniture is different than the pictures and the view of the mountains is quite obstructed from the overgrown bushes, weeds, and trees. Still a beautiful view, but not as open as the pictures indicate. We had a wonderful time and will return!
Amazing cabin, with great views. Had everything we look for in a cabin when booking. We stayed at the cabin and enjoyed all the amenities. Being completely secluded was definitely a plus! The only downside is that it’s located on a one lane, gravel road(2+miles) with turns and the directions are a little confusing. We made the wrong turn twice & had to turn around, in the dark, which was horrifying for me! The cabin itself is 5+ stars! We would love to come back year after year!
Hot tub was green, fire place didn't work, rug hadn't been vacuumed in months. Fireplace didn't work. Wifi was not included like in the ad. Only a hot spot u have to pay for. Cob webs and dust all over.
We had a pleasant experience! The check in/out process was easy, the cabin was clean and we thought it was the perfect size for the two of us and the dogs. We didn’t get to use the outdoor space much because of the rainy weather but that’s the risk you take when you vacation in January. We were there to hike, not chill, so we did what we enjoyed in nearby Natahala national forest. We did lose power for about 24 hours due to a snow storm but we knew it was coming so we made sure to heat the cabin a bit above normal before we went to bed that night, and then we utilized the fireplace to help keep us warm. There was one or two little maintenance issues while we were there but nothing major and the property management team (Chelsea, specifically) was in close contact with us about it and I really appreciate the responsiveness! All in all, we definitely plan to come back!!!
My husband and I really enjoyed our romantic stay in the mountains. The view was amazing and it had everything we needed minus the Internet. We didn’t accept the Internet add on but it was worth it unplugging from the world.
Quaint little cabin with a beautiful view. Very secluded property close to the NOC. Drive up the mountain has some pretty tight corners and steep spots.
